My brother is a great driver and a good teacher, but didn't have the time to commit or the recall of some of those little details that many of us long-time drivers become complacent with over the years. After not passing twice in a row and the boy's permit about to expire for a second time, I hired Assist Driver Training for the Adult C course (3 lessons and the test). My brother couldn't believe the positive change in both his son's confidence and skills after just 3 lessons as they drove to the test! My nephew passed and is now awaiting his permanent license in the mail. Besides being a very pleasant person, Marc does more than teach to the test; his priority is ensuring that safety is paramount -- and that's what really makes a good driver. According to her, the instructor was very patient and helpful, which is exactly what an anxious student needs. As a parent, though, it was frustrating. Trying to actually schedule in-car time can be a pain in the butt, and it seems clear they don't have any computerized records. It also seems they file by instructor name and class time, rather than by student, but that's a guess based on what they asked whenever I was trying to schedule things. The price is about the same as any other school in the area -- for my other kids I'm likely to check out other schools and see if their organization is a little more straightforward. (To be specific... I've been waiting a day for a call back once they "find" her records. Kid needs her car time to get her license, come on!)

They responded, call the office. That is poor customer service. A company should be able to professionally respond to email inquiries. Not everyone has time to call every company to ask simple questions. Not everyone likes to talk on the phone. As a business, you should respond to inquiries as they are asked. If an individual requests a callback, that's different. Companies are becoming too lazy to do business.

I went in to Potts myself and asked all pertinent questions. They explained everything to me and when I forgot, I called and they clarified it all again. My son who is 15 1/2 said the class went well. He just completed the road portion yesterday and said Mr. Potts was very nice and informative during the process. On the second day of the driving portion in which my son had to be picked up from school verses home, there was a slight miss communication on where my son should be. Mr. Potts was patient in waiting and directing my son to which side to be at for pick up. If we are here in 1 1/2 years I will definitely take our other son to get his training here. There are 3 fees, but only 1 is mandatory. There is also a swipe fee. Cash and check (if I remember right) are excepted.
