Super professional, he made the entire audio process for our wedding very easy and seamless, despite a massive thunderstorm disrupting the planned order of events, you never would have known anything was changed last second. I took a chance and hired DRJ productions for my party blindly without a referral and I couldn't be happier with my decision to choose him. Upon initial contact he was very professional and attentive to planning ahead of my event. I provided him with a list of songs and styles I wanted for my party ahead of time. He arrived early to setup and soon was playing tunes. He incorporated all the songs I requested and mixed in his own that matched what I wanted. My guests were really happy and dancing during his whole set. He was also a great MC. He got us to dance a conga line, a few other group dances and got everyone involved. This post is 1.5 years late, but I just wanted to write what a wonderful experience Dave provided with his DRJ production DJ services at our wedding in June of 2018. We were very nervous with who to go with for our wedding and he took the time to do a skype interview from home. We even got to see his sweet son during the interview. Dave mixed together two of our favorite songs by Ella Fitzgerald and Punch Brothers into one continuous song that blended together PERFECTLY for our first dance. I still play his blended song some times and it is a wonderful reminder of our wedding day and what a great time we had. He kept the party going on all night and everyone was excited to dance. He was able to smoothly transition our music set up from the ceremony room to the drinks hour and then the reception, all with his own materials and working independently. There was not a single hiccup at our wedding. He even was able to transition from our different genres of music at each specific hour of our wedding, smoothly transitioning from old jazzy hits like ella fitzgerald during drinks hour to cultural music at the start of our reception and transitioning into modern hits as the reception picked up after dinner. His guidance with the music kept our wedding on perfect timing and he took great care to signal the end of the wedding in a gentle way that encouraged people to get one last dance in and shuffle out on time so that we weren't charged overtime at our venue. I would never hesitate to use him again and am already looking forward to reconnecting with him sometime soon for future family occasions to have use his services. Oh and I have to comment that we also still get comments about how great the music selection was at our wedding - and Dave managed all of that. We didn't spend hours choosing our playlist, we just gave him the genres and artists we liked and he handled the rest BEAUTIFULLY! Thank you again - can't say enough.
