Also note that the corporation let go all of his prior staff and the overall service has become more difficult. I talked to the old staff at the Tree Lane address a few days before it closed and they all told me that the corporation flew a few geniuses in and over a not very thoughtful pizza lunch told all of his old staff that the office was moving, and they were not going to be moving with him or the practice. Yep, cost gutting capitalists took over and they don't give a you know what about the patients. Happily, Dr. Sharpe still does, and so I still use him as my PCP. I had been sick for a couple of weeks with the Flu then a head cold and bronchitis. I thought I could beat it on my own, but a sinus infection finally got the best of me. Their excellent staff was as efficient as ever and I was shown into an exam room right at my appointment time. Dr. Sharpe did a through exam, and best of all, he listened to my story of fighting the cold/flu and ALL my symptoms. One thing that really bugs me are doctors who are too busy to listen to their patients. It may be simple to them, but it's not so simple to the suffering. As I said, Dr. Sharpe did a great job, and now two days later, I am well on the road to recovery. I give Dr. Sharpe two thumbs up. If you are looking for family healthcare that is efficient, knowledgeable, and best of all, caring, then I highly recommend Eastside Family Medicine. They are simply the best.

He is on a lot of different meds and I don't know what he can and cannot take, so I find his doctor online and there is number to call so I call and leave a message. He calls back with attitude saying we weren't aloud to call the after hours service line cause my father did not pay for it. I told him the situation and asked I could give him Tylenol or something and he would not give me information said I needed to call my father and ask him. This guy does not care about his patients at all. Well that happened a couple months ago. Yesterday 3/3/15, my Mother took my Grandfather in for one of his check ups. I was assigned to her by my insurance company and they made it too difficult to change PCPs, so I stuck it out as long as I could. Each time I had to go in for a referral, I was treated horribly. I was already seeing specialists and didn't want to see the ones she wanted to refer me to - I liked the ones I had been with. I even received a call to schedule an appointment at a weight loss clinic, which I hadn't requested! At my last appointment, I was treated with a condescending attitude and left in tears. I told the front desk at checkout that I would not be returning for a follow-up, due to how I was treated. Two days later, I received a "Dear John" type letter that was informing me that they would no longer treat me. What?! I had already said I wasn't coming back, but it was like a "I quit!", "You're fired!" situation. Pass on by this practice and find a place that actually cares about you as a person and not just more money to be made.
