I got a referral from my Primary Care Physician to Dr. Westerman, and he was able to get me in for an appointment withing a couple of days. He recommended both day and night sleep studies, and the office was able to get me in the very same night due to a cancellation. Upon my arrival that evening, the technician on duty explained to me exactly what was going to happen. As she got me all hooked up (there are lots of wires and LOTS of icky goop), she explained to me what each set was for and answered any questions that I had. She was standing by all night ready to help me out, and in the morning made sure that she came in and introduced me to the technician that she was turning over with. When Dr Westerman arrived for the day, he also stopped in to say hello and check in with me. During the day study, the day technician was awesome. She checked on me constantly, made sure I had everything I needed, and kept me in the loop on everything. Once everything was done, Dr Westerman met with me and talked me through the initial readings on my studies. When I came back in for my complete results, he took the time that I needed, and explained everything to me. Every visit I have had with him since has been the same. He did not seem concerned with time, and ensured that my questions were all fully answered before I left. I recently lost my job, and, therefore, my insurance. When I called the office to let them know and to ask about prescriptions, I was assured by the office staff that they would work with me to ensure that I would not be without care and medication during this down time. I was very impressed with their kindness. Dr Westerman is also an accomplished amateur photographer, with his photos donning the walls of many of the exam and consultation rooms in the offices. If nothing else, its a great conversation starter! Super, friendly, accommodating staff, and a Doctor who actually seems to CARE about his patients. What more could you want?
