This store sells hard candy made by Claey Candies. They sell several different flavors including cinnamon, lemon, root beer, green apple, etc. For the last two and a half weeks they have been out of the cinnamon and lemon. They have row after row of the other flavors -- it looks like the other flavors haven't been selling but they, for some reason, haven't been ordering the cinnamon or lemon which appear to be the most popular flavors. It seems like common sense and good business practices are out the window when it comes to ordering the items that are the biggest sellers. I can get anything that the store sells online and that includes the aforementioned candy. I guess that's what I will have to do. Too bad, since my wife and I have shopped here for years. Management doesn't seem to care so I don't. read more

Checked today if they have a specific brand and size of protein powder. They have a smaller size than Sam's Club has, and it costs more than $20 more than Sam's Club charges for a larger net weight. read more

The Drug Emporeum is a great, one-stop shopping location for suppliments and natural food items. The store also stocks many non-food items (resembling a Walmart of sorts), all priced very competitively. My wife and I drive 90 miles to shop here, and price shop items between here and the Natural Grocer. I highly recommend a visit, but please note ... they only accept cash and debit cards to save on costs. Also be sure to check out the prices for the items you intend to buy ... it is not uncommon to find the same product marked with two (or more) prices, varying from box-to-box/can-to-can/container-to-container. The store passes savings (or price increases) directly to the customer, at the time that an item is purchased. So be sure to look through all of an items packages to get the cheapest prices! read more

This place has everything! It's the Wally World of drug stores! Huge vitamin area, and in the middle of the store is snack/trail mix stand with about 30 different varieties. The cinnamon snack mix is outstanding! Prices very competive. read more

Drug Emporium on Barrow its real close to the office and well known so when people call I use it for a reference to guide people to the office, If the address don't click... ANYWAY. I get in there about every other month for odds and end things I need, Yesterday a buddy needed dog food, so I for the most part looked at the magazines, then made small talk with the nice cashers. Best place to get "good"vitamins and your natural food products. They have everything. They have a large selection of cereals, pop tarts, breakfast bars, spaghetti, etc....... But natural !!!!!! You have to pay with check or cash which is one of the reasons their prices are better and lower than most. They have a pharmacy also. Huge selection of salon hair products. My entire family drives 74 miles from Brownwood mainly to shop at Drug Emporium and we find the prices are a lot lower than anyone especially, CVS, Walgreens, Sams Club etc....A VERY LARGE Selection of vitiamins & supplements. The staff is always friendly to help you. Even when we shop on internet for better prices there's is always better even without the shipping cost. We hope they stay in business and will continue to support them as much as possible. read more

I have been a customer at Drug Emporium for many years but today the bad experience has changed that. My mom and I both purchased the exact same two loaves of Ezekiel bread and went to the same cashier. She charged us differently. When I realized what happened and pointed out that both of mom's breads had been charged as if they were the same higher raisin bread price.. the cashier and manager refused to correct it. Their reason being that her regular loaf had a price tag on it so they had to go by that. It was marked wrong.. clearly. I should have just had them refund the money.. but their attitude was so rude.. I'm done. Walmart carries it to so they will get my business now. read more
