We wanted a Spanish guitarist for our wedding, but we also wanted someone who can play traditional guitar as well. Like I said before, I don't even know what to say. Everything he played was perfection. I'm definitely a perfectionist (as he probably could tell when we met) which by the way, he had no problem doing. He responded to my emails, met up with my wife and I, and although he's a professional; he was humble enough to listen to everything we wanted to say, which is extremely important in a vendor. Not only did Rico meet my expectations, he surpassed them. Completely. Here were some of my initial concerns. I knew he could play the Spanish guitar (because I heard him in his videos) but I had no idea if he could play traditional guitar, because I hadn't heard him do so. He assured me that he could, so I really had to trust him. Not only could he play the traditional guitar, he could play it so amazingly beautiful. I would now trust this dude to do anything. From the moment they started playing, the dance floor was LIT all night. Their energy was contagious, they had incredible soul, and they truly knew how to groove. What impressed us most was how well they read the crowd and kept the momentum going. The transitions between songs were brilliantly done, making the entire night feel seamless and keeping everyone wanting more. And I have to say--their rendition of "Sweet Caroline" was somehow even better than Neil Diamond's! They brought such an amazing spirit to every song and created an atmosphere that was electric from start to finish.
