It really does hurt my heart to have to write such a post about one of our favorite hotel chains. We just love the Drury Inn... but I wouldn't encourage anyone to stay at this one. We checked in and were immediately given a hard time. Upon checkin Lindsay wanted all of my information like I stole something when I entered. There were multiple people behind the wall of the front desk giggling and laughing but only one person checking in. Shortly after check in, I went back to the front desk to explain our issue. Wheelchair wouldn't fit inside the room. Walker barely fit inside the bathroom. I have added pictures to explain. When I went back up front it was two new ladies standing there. The only offer they could give me was a King Size ADA, which wouldn't work for us. It took them less than 2 minutes to even try. There was no care in the world that my grandmother would be very inconvenienced here. They could have cared less. This has not been our experience at all as Drury Inns have been unbelievable in having such amazing Customer Service. Do not stay here if you want a decent room. They will put you in a hole and could care less how you get yourself around. read more

While traveling, we decided to stop for the day at the Drury Inn and I'm so glad that we gave them a try. The customer service was excellent and the room was perfect. We stayed in a double queen room and the beds were so comfortable that I didn't want to get up in the morning. The shower was relaxing and all of the complementary shampoo/conditioner/body wash that was in the shower was quite convenient (though the conditioner comes out very slow). As the shower head is a rainfall type, there isn't a tremendous amount of water pressure coming out at once. Regardless, the shower was great and got all of us clean. The rooms themselves were very clean and comfortable. The pool area was clean and had fresh towels for use. The hot tub was small but had mighty jets. The pool itself was cool as far as temperature goes but interesting as you could swim from inside the building to outside. To add to all of the positives, Drury Inn offers complementary dinner snacks (more like a full meal) and drinks (both alcoholic and non alcoholic) for their guests. That's right, if you are staying here you get three free alcoholic beverages a night, per registered adult. Breakfast was your typical hotel food for the most part. They had waffles, eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, potatoes, breads, and oatmeal. In addition, they had a few different kinds of juices, milk, coffee, tea, hot chocolate, and even a soda machine. We arrived at this Dreary Inn after 9 pm and checked in, but don't believe they actually gave me my military discount, no itemized statement was given to me, so I will have to check my account when I get a chance. Room is a bit small and smelled musty, found hair in the bath tub and even one on a pillow, nasty looking bed spread (pic below). No Kureg machine like they have at Holiday Inn Express. Air system is extremely weak and can't change the fan speed, has me rethinking that maybe the free breakfast isn't such a good idea. I have had good experiences at other Drury Inns before but you'd be best to avoid this location especially since they are more expensive than the other chains that are local. You'll find me at a HIE from here on out. UPATE: The manager actually contacted me and was extremely concerned with the uncleanness of the room and sent us a voucher for a complimentary stay. read more

Stayed here twice with 4 little kids and I loved this place! VERY family friendly! Pack-n-plays were already setup in the room. Getting everyone fed with their free hot breakfast and dinner (5:30pm Kickback), without having to leave the hotel, was beyond convenient! Modern yet cozy interior. Staff was super sweet. Kids loved the indoor/outdoor pool. Just wish that the barn door bathrooms had some type of locks on them, because in my case I couldn't hide from all of the kids. Ha! We were here for 3 days, 2 nights for Christmas vacation. Our in-laws are just outside of town and once again we stayed at this awesome hotel. After our previous stay in Cape Girardeau, MO - we can confirm that each guest (per room) does get a free voucher for up to three alcoholic beverages plus free dinner. The dinner was a buffet that also included soft drinks, water and tea. This takes place every night from 5:30-7:30 PM. Also, the continental breakfast has cold/ warm breakfast. You can make a sausage burrito, diced potatoes, scrambled eggs , sausage, waffles, cereals, yogurt, pastries, toast, milk and soft drinks. The hotel room is very comfortable, cozy and the staff is so very friendly. The room has a flat screen tv, desk, free internet, small mini refrigerator , small microwave , normal size tub and has basic toiletries in the bathroom. We were very pleased with our stay and looking forward to our next Drury Inn visit as we travel. read more

Stopped here on our way home on a family vacation. Staff was very friendly & accommodating. Loved the evening "party" in the lobby. There were a few characters staying there that made me a little uneasy around our young kids. Not sure if that's a draw for the 3 free drinks & food?? This was the best hotel I have ever stayed in!! It was a very clean room and the staff could not be any nicer. The bathroom has a shampoo, conditioner and even a body wash dispenser in the shower. They keep them full for you. The room has a fridge and microwave that is in a neat little closet so you don't have to look at it. The beds are super soft and the pillows I was in love with. They have kick backs at night 5:30 to 7:00 you get free great food and 3 that's right 3 FREE adult drinks. Come on can it get any better??? You woke up more great HOT FREE FOOD. I'm serious this is a awesome place with awesome people. You should definitely check it out read more

My family has stayed here a couple of times. Clean, comfortable room. They have a good breakfast and hot evening food. Definitely recommend.

Not worth the money. The bathroom door, a sliding barn door, opens about 20 inches. The air coming out of the AC smells musty. The door stop to the room is in front of an open closet space and hurts when you step on it. Oh, and our first room reeked of smoke. read more

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay here. Staff was abundantly friendly and helpful. We were here for business and if we hadn't had to be back home on Saturday , we would have stayed another night. Beds were so comfortable. It was clean, smelled good and the fridge/microwave was a plus. The free drinks were a pleasant surprise and the although we had dinner plans, the buffet others were eating looked quite good. I always like staying at the Drury when I can and this was no exception. Great to have a hot breakfast and plenty of coffee at 5am, even before they start serving breakfast! Dinners are a hit and miss. Sometimes great, sometimes meh! My first night, dinner was dried-out chicken nuggets, smashed potatoes and white milk gravy. Thankful for the gravy, otherwise I wouldn't even attempted to have eaten the nuggets. They also had steamed long whole multi-colored green beans which were tasty and of course, salad. I got back too late from work the second night so I missed dinner. My last stay at this location, I don't remember the desk in the room being at the entrance when you walk into the room and it's on the left side of the television. I was the only one staying in the room but consider it would be awkward, if you're trying to do computer work at the desk and someone comes from the bathroom or someone you're with comes into the room and has to squeeze by you to get around while you're sitting at the desk doing paperwork or working on your laptop. I much prefer the desk to be on the right side of the desk and closer to the window... just my preference. Other than that, I always look for the Drury sign and check their rates first on-line! 95% of my hotel stays are at the Drury... that says a lot about what they offer and their staff were very friendly & courteous!!! read more

I had no idea that The Drury Inn has so many amenities included in the price. My family always stayed at embassy suites because of the managers drinks and hot breakfast. The Drury Inn has that and much more. The drinks at 5:30 also has hot dogs., nachos , Baked potatoes, Mac and cheese, salad and chili. There seems to be fresh popped corn available all the time. Top this with the fact that this place is pet friendly !! All of the staff that I have encountered have been super nice and helpful The rooms are super clean and the Internet is free. read more

This is the first time we have stayed at this hotel, but it won't be the last. Is it super fancy? No. Is the furniture and draperies a bit dated? Yes. But.. it's no matter. Any little thing that would take away from this review, could be overlooked due to the amazing staff. Everyone was so friendly and willing to go above and beyond to help. We had a discrepancy on our bill and it was taken care of right away. They offer a very nice, hot breakfast to start your day off right and a snack later in the day, free of charge. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is because the old popcorn bag from the last person who occupied our room was still in the room. In the housekeeper's defense, it was behind the bedside table. I only found it when I looked behind the table to retrieve an earring that had fallen behind it. Also, the bathroom was EXTREMELY small. I mean, really really small. I know they can't help it and people don't go to the restroom to turn cartwheels, but still... more room would be nice. The staff was extremely friendly. The room itself was nothing spectacular but it was a great deal for the price. Stayed at this place twice in a span of month while visiting a local hospital. Hot breakfast and dinner. Wine, liquor, and beer served at dinner. No frills hotel. Rooms and building are showing signs of age but clean. Friendly staff who have been with Drury for years! Has a Fitness Room, a computer/printer at a corner, popcorn machine, etc. Parking has a ton of maintenance vehicles, pickups, and big enough to accommodate truck-trailers. The hotel is old and outdated....BUT, it has an indoor/outdoor pool and hot tub, free popcorn in the evening, and an amazing breakfast buffet with lots of options. The staff was super friendly.
