I hadn't thought to leave a review until now because we just got another order back and it was a doozy! I had an unexpected home birth in my bed and ended up getting a huge amount of blood soaked through all of our duvet, duvet cover, and sheets. We thought they were all garbage, but our family convinced us to call Stephen Cleaners to see if there was any way they could be recovered. We were anxious and a bit embarrassed to even inquire about the cleaning, but the staff on the phone were so understanding and friendly. They told us to bring our items in and that they'd do their best to get the blood out. Incredibly, when we picked up our bedding a week later, they were perfectly cleaned -- Not a trace of blood stain anywhere! I asked her some questions about the beading place(she shared the same building so she knows almost everything about the place), she answered very stiffly and almost as if she thought I was the dumbest person in the world. A few seconds later, she went on rambling about some negative energy between us and got really hostile and just plain rude, like "I hate you" rude. The remaining time I was there she followed me like a hawk and scrutinized my every move. At the sales counter, she was ringing up my purchases, all were 50%-60% off. She did not discount them. I would NEVER go to this dry cleaning place or recommend it, I believe customer service is very important, and this was definitely a bad experience. I loved the beading shop, but I don't really want to go again in case I run into this lady again, she gives me really bad vibes. I'm not just some Karen either, and I've had bad experiences in the past, but never actually written a review, and they were nothing compared to this. Other customers seemed to like her, but I definitely did not imagine the worst death glare you've ever received, and multiply it by ten. That's how I felt she treated me the entire time I was there. The 2nd time to the same customer merited a concern voiced to the owner. Owner (Josh) did reply promptly and started out being polite but when I said I don't think it has been dry cleaned he basically, told me it was the jacket being worn out. I have used cleaners before and they have been able to clean to my satisfaction. This fellow argued with me and at no time offered a sincere apology. I am dumbfounded when he said he didn't need my business. I am a manager in a large coporation with large monthly dry cleaning in excess of $200.00 per month which is significant for one customer. When I explained that I would take my business elsewhere: his reply, "I'm sorry you feel that way." My only conclusion is that his business is extremely successful and does not need the business or he just plain does not care. I would say it's the latter. I wish him the best of luck with the future of his business as he wil not have me as a customer.

I tried to show the girl at the counter where the ink mark was so she could try to get it out. She didn't care to see where the mark was at all, so I assumed they would look for the mark later. She said they would attempt to get the mark out, but couldn't guarantee anything. (I didn't check the shorts until I got home). The ink mark was still there & they had put two large safety pins in the shorts to attach it to a hanger. I don't think they even attempted to get the mark out & now there are 4 large holes in the shorts from the safety pins. Don't go here!!!
