He provided us with basic information and offered to come out to the property within a couple of days of the initial call. On inspection day, a Friday, he promptly arrived with his gear to complete a thorough inspection and test samples of the mold and air. He communicated by phone and text before, during, and after. Once he left, he sent the samples off to the lab. We received detailed reports from him and the lab via email on the following Tuesday. He followed up with a phone call to discuss what it all meant, and the severity of the mold in the home. Week or so later, he went back to the property with a contractor. They inspected the property together and followed up with an hour long conference call with me within a few days. We discussed action plans, and what exactly the property needed. We decided to take the first step of just demolition (removing the affected walls, subfloor, and ceiling), so that the contractor could give us a more exact estimate of what we were looking at, in terms of joist replacement and such. Steve called and was able to start the project about a week earlier than expected. He kept me updated by text. Due to winter storms, there were some delays, but the job was finished and really allowed us to see the full scope of things. His quotes for demo, removing the mold, sanitizing, dehumidifiers, vapor barriers, etc were very reasonable. Steve was very transparent and available through thr full process. I would recommend him and his team, as his communication skills are fantastic, and that is something very hard to come by in the service industries like this.

We had servicemaster of Grand Rapids Mn Gene Pehrson refurbish our cabin up near Effie after a…read moreflood 2 years ago and the work they did was subpar, plus very hard to get a call back about finishing work, new countertops had chips, over cuts and end caps not installed, sheet flooring has ripples, doors don't not close well, nail and staples heads not countersunk or puttied plus many other minor issues very sad work and they have come back twice to fix issues still not good. The work was paid by insurance original quote was $26k after all the shabby work was completed they sent an additional invoice for $20k on a 300 sq foot cabin, it's two rooms and a bathroom very disappointed.
