Patience: After I had my car accident, an extremely tactless tow truck company picked up my…read morevehicle. Almost a week later Moody's called me to ask where my car was, because they hadn't seen it or heard from the tow truck company about when it might be coming in. Come to find out, the tow truck driver had just dropped it off in the Moody's lot, chucked the keys in it, and never told anyone about where it was. This delayed the repairs by five business days and left my car at risk of being stolen. Moody's, however, handled this situation with grace and empathy towards me, and I appreciated their unabashed frustration towards the tow truck driver, because I too was livid at him, and it felt nice to have that solidarity after such a terrible week. Professionalism: It seemed like Don from Moody's called me every few days to update me on my car (and this was through the holidays). He never spoke down to me, at me, around me, or through me. He spoke with me like I knew something about cars - this doesn't always happen as I'm a small, young-looking female. I appreciated them for treating me with respect. Customer service: when I picked up my car, the lady at the front desk couldn't have been kinder, more thoughtful, or more friendly (also the Moody's space could have been a doctor's office, it was so clean and modern - nothing at all like the "car repair shop" image I think most of us have). Also, I think she might have been Mrs. Clause in another life, because she all but hugged me and offered me cookies - that's how comfortable she made me feel. I so appreciated that the process of getting my car back was easier than I ever could have imagined. Quality repairs: I couldn't be happier that Allstate chose Moody's as their preferred auto body repair shop. At first I was so irritated that I had to drive all the way to Biddeford, but in the end I'm happy to have used them. I have no doubts that my car is back to working order! But: In reality this is a 4 1/2 star review NOT a 5 star review because about a week after having my car back I realized that all the plastic nuts that locked the lining of my trunk down and in were missing. Obviously they had been removed when Moody's put in the new trunk, but never put back. Now the lining to my trunk is just sort of laying there unattached. It doesn't impede driving or even the use of the trunk, and it's nothing I can't fix myself (but I shouldn't have to), so Moody's misses the mark just slightly by this oversight.

My husband has a 2012 Prius in mint condition. Ten years ago a deer hit his rear passenger door. We…read morebrought it to Moodys, they repaired after two tries. Fast forward 4 years and that spot began to rust/bubble over the wheel well. We brought it back to Moodys who refused to honor their lifetime guarantee work saying the rust is due to age. There is not another spot of rust anywhere on the vehicle to this day. Shame on Moodys. We will never go back there again.

dropped vehicle off was told would have back at end of the week. roughly about 2 plus months later…read morefirst Dave the owner calked to let us know he put so many more claims in to our insurance company they totaled the car almost. as fast as i got off phone with Dave iwner of Cabana's on maine St sanford maine then it was time to call insurance and cancel the claims the auto body shop took it on him self to add to car naking a $2800in damages into over $10,000. I asked him the owner who is that you think you are it's not legal for an auto nody shop to add ckaims to your vehicle as it is wanted to charge $2500 per fender on a nissan altima as all parts i already priced out all parts where dealer ship parts with the correct numbers to be replacement parts all parts i priced out where all brand new many from Nissan dealerships not after market parts. .If you are in the do it right state for the damage go to moody collision Dave also replaced the realist or and the condenser. there was nothing wrong with these parts but he replaced them also claimed to put coolant in $12.00 charge a nissan takes asian coolant closer to $40.00 a gallon regular coolant damages the radiator the metal on coolant damages the aluminum core .Since car wad got vack body looks alright but day i got vehicle i filled radiator since then i filled 3 times. not sure why a body shop is working on a part usualky fir mechanics i got car back in close to 2 months and a few days a migraine costing me money on the tradhy radiator placed in car i diagnosed the car afyer accident and gad looked at radiator was ok although it was aluminum now it's not be careful he loves his money and places claims in as if he can it's illegal to do this im srnding car to family master mechanic then we will see what else Cabana's tried to destroy to maje more money debt on roof telks ne they will not put a new windshield on with a dent on roof. as if i'm an idiot. .Ve careful he is a bulkshitter tjinks all are idiots other then himself .Car looks good but seems to have more nechanical damage then vefore o brought it there 4 days turned into 63 days blames on insurance then tries to not fox it and charge us storage for vehicle veing there yet we had a schedule to have fixed after speaking to insurance she said you have to watch out for whom does the work or tries to total out your vehicle i just paid off not 3 weeks before dropping off be patiant moidy's and many others tgat take pride in there work not there wallets .Also had to clear the codes after there work was dobe OBD2 diagnostics plugged in as he claimed too but did not still have temperature reading -40 * everyday not to mention we checked on vehicle weekly boxes tools trash left inside vehicle as if it was the shop
