We hired Early Bird Painting to paint the trim and soffits on our 50+ year old house. We previously…read morepainted the siding ourselves last year but never got around to doing the trim (due to extensive peeling on the soffits and damage to some of the wood trim that needed to be replaced). Early Bird did a fantastic job and they were able to do it quickly. They gave us a bid back in June but I didn't get back to them about scheduling until the last week of October when I was fully expecting we would have to schedule for sometime next year. When I got back to them, they were able to get us in the very next week (we got lucky with great weather in November), and they completed the work in about 1.5 days. My husband and I were also working from home due to COVID and their work was so quiet that it did not interfere with video calls. TL;DR: Overall, Early Bird is a fantastic company to work with, and you should definitely give them a call when you need professional painting done. They did a wonderful job with no mess. The once forest green trim and service door are now a gleaming, smooth white; the peeling soffits and damaged areas of trim are looking fresh and well taken care of. We plan to keep them in mind for future projects.

They did more damage then work, broke the back of the toilet lid, spilled varnish on the driveway, and left empty alcohol bottles in our dumpster and food in our fridge. And only did taping, didnt even paint anything. Took multiple calls to get a different team in, paint does look great, but not what I asked for (did all white, asked for them to color match the existing accent walls, did not do so). This project was done over a month ago, still no toilet back even though I was promised it would be fixed, they claimed the varnish on the driveway "wasn't them", and claimed they left us "multiple messages", when neither me or my husband has heard from them. I chose them because of the 5 star reviews and Walt was nice and was kind to my kid, but I would have a lit less Grey hairs if I went with another company.

Communication was poor from the job supervisor as we had to keep asking for updates. The supervisor failed to communicate with the painter as to what needed to be done, or the painter failed to pay attention. I had to repeatedly check his work to make sure everything was done and to correct sloppy work. Also, the interior trim work done by the "carpenter" was substandard with very poor attention to detail. I mentioned this to the job supervisor but he showed no interest in my concerns. And, I had to advise the painter again to get the proper penetration on the baseshoe to match the baseboard. Very disappointing experience. Strongly recommend Home Works Remodeling, Middleton. I used the contact us page on their website, I got a response the next day from Cory simply asking me what kind of siding I have, and if I had any extra pieces. No quote, no scheduled time to come out and look at any of the issues around the home. I responded to Cory that day letting him know about the siding and asked when they would get an estimate to me or schedule a visit. No response. I emailed Cory again saying I was still waiting a response and asked if Doug's Handyman Service was still interested in the jobs? No response. So I called their main number and left a voicemail, no response. I even filled out another inquiry on their site and got no response. I'm not sure why they ghosted me when I have many small jobs that I want to pay someone to fix. Either they are too busy or they don't want to jobs. Which is fine, but at least respond to the customers.
