The clerk that helped that day was 5*. My husband purchased two pairs of shoes for around $400. We went to Europe and did a lot of walking. My husband was so pleased with the one pair of shoes that he returned today to purchase the same pair in black. However the clerk with the goatee was exceptionally rude when he couldn't find a record of us being in the store or even purchasing anything. He was snappy and totally disrespectful. So we will be making future purchases online or elsewhere. We will not be back to Wagners. Very disappointing!

Bernie helped me find two pairs ON SALE and then customized them at the heel and in the front to fit absolutely perfectly. Plus I can go back for future adjustments to the fit at no charge! I prefer to shop for shoes online, but I sometimes like to stop in and see what shoes are in stock. When I entered this store, an employee kindly greeted me, and later as I was leaving, she thanked me. As I walked around, I focused mostly on the women's shoes, and I thought that the selection and quality of sneakers, dress shoes, boots, sandals, slippers, etcetera was OK. I saw name brands such as Nike, Vans, and Birkenstock. Of course, the selection was not as large as what you can find online, and the prices were not always as low. However, I think that this store is good for buying footwear that you need at the last-minute and cannot wait to have delivered.

Another employee did greet me and asked if I needed any assistance. I found two packs of socks to purchase. The checkout process was quick and easy. I appreciated that the store was having a sale and that the employee gave me a free cloth bag. Later, I wore the socks, and they fit my feet well.

With Hope's help, I tried on several brands with and without orthotics. Have worked 3 twelve hour shifts without leg or lower back pain priceless. I admit (in my mind) I spent an obscene amount on 2 pairs of tennis shoes and 1 pair of orthotics. Hopefully, the shoes will last.
