This is common business practice. I feel the newer management style under Grant has changed the way the Sacramento campus operates. All of the staff are warm, welcoming and friendly. They do not call and harass you you! They do NOT pressure you into buying any more classes- you are free to get up and walk out the door at anytime. The staff will stay after intro class for those that have more questions or are wanting to learn more and sign up for future classes. Yes, it is an initial expense, but your money does go a long way! Once you start taking courses, you become a lifetime member without additional fees except for tuition of another different course.
