While the building is large, the best way to get to this office is park near the area of the building where the valet is and enter through there, take the immediate elevators up to the 2nd floor and boom...right there! I learned my lesson on my first visit and while I got my steps in...it was not ideal given I was there for a foot related issue. Front Desk staff is always welcoming and helpful, as are the nurses and NP's. Lobby is clean and in good condition, as are the patient rooms. Dr. King is always friendly, knowledgeable and helpful with my visits. He can be a bit delayed on his rounds, so I recommend clearing a bit more of your schedule than you think you need to. Dr. Fogolin did a surgical procedure to remove the infection, and since that time I have not been able to walk without extreme pain and it has now been about 9 months. After Humana paid them thousands and thousands of dollars, they told me find a pain doctor, I owe them a $30.00 X-ray or co-pay fee, so they abandoned me as a patient over the $30.00. I really have no idea what damage Dr. Robert Fogolin did, as doctors cover for each other. I used to run 3-5 miles every other day, I used to be a 4.0 tennis player, now I have to get around with a walker or a cain, depending on the pain level that day. A very straight forward operation to clean out an infection has destroyed my life. The staff told me, don't complain about the $30.00 to Dr. Fogolin, he has nothing to do with billing, he is nothing more than an employee, thanks Hughston Clinic! Fast forward to February and I received a new bill for $50.00. I figured it was in response to my previous inquiry for a new statement for flexible spending and i ignored it. In March, I received another $50.00 invoice and called the office to inquire why. I was told that I should have paid two $50.00 copays on that day, so I still owe them $50.00! ALMOST A YEAR LATER?!?! I am now past the point of being able to claim the second $50.00 copay on my flexible spending account. It is ridiculous that a company can operate this way and no matter how good the dr is, the billing cost me a loss of $50.00! Leigh offered me a 55% discount on that bill, which obviously I took, but I shouldn't have been held responsible for THEIR ERROR! I repeatedly and respectfully asked for help addressing the root cause. I was seeking solutions and my physical body to function -- not conflict. In fact, I would've told no one if Dr. Jones did the right thing to either fix my knee himself or let his insurance cover the cost for the damages. Apparently the standard in Tennessee allows a physician to perform surgery without reviewing a patient's MRI imaging (fact) and then decline to address the resulting extreme complications, and that is extremely concerning for patient safety. I'd think twice before choosing this Surgeon. I am facing a full knee replacement that will cost me 50k out of pocket. Meanwhile he has completely ghosted me. Enjoying vacations and his working knees. How nice for him.

I have stayed very consistent with my exercises that I was given thus far. I had to preserve when I thought I just could not. Today , I can say, I am so grateful for Dr. Gautsch and his expertise in this minimally invasive technique that he has literally mastered! Dr. Gautsch also has incredible staff with Nurse Ashley, and the girls in the front office and my incredible, patient, caring PT Amy! The care that the office team gives is loving, highly knowledgeable and encouraging! My story is that I have had bone on bone knee pain and discomfort for long over 15 plus years. I kept active and suffered at night. I lived on over the counter NSAID's and finally went to a daily prescription to manage the discomfort. If you're reading this you know what I am talking about! When I met with Dr. Gautsch he completely understood my situation! He was very easy to discuss my future with and how I would love to have an active life again! I have 5 grandchildren that are under the age of 8 and it was becoming debilitating to keep up. Going to the Zoo sounded like torture to have to walk and I surely didn't want that any more! He explained the surgical procedure with my husband and I and made it all very easy to understand! I did do all of my PT at the Southern Sports Clinic there at his office and I am so grateful I did!
