My first visit to the Spring Hill location for my trigger thumb was positive. However, after I was referred to the Mt. Juliet location for a procedure consultation, the experience became very disappointing. No one contacted me about the referral, so I had to call several times before I was able to get scheduled. After the consultation, my procedure was set for Friday, June 26, and I was told I would receive a call a few days beforehand with the details. That call never came. Despite following up several times, I was repeatedly told someone would return my call, but I still have not heard back. I used vacation days for the procedure and the three days afterward for recovery. Based on this experience, I strongly recommend researching other options before choosing this establishment. If this is how they treat a fellow medical professional and retired veteran, I question how others may be treated.

I called the office and asked them for more documentation so I can be reimbursed my $50.00 and a new invoice was sent to me (sent that in and received my reimbursement from flexible spending). Fast forward to February and I received a new bill for $50.00. I figured it was in response to my previous inquiry for a new statement for flexible spending and i ignored it. In March, I received another $50.00 invoice and called the office to inquire why. I was told that I should have paid two $50.00 copays on that day, so I still owe them $50.00! ALMOST A YEAR LATER?!?! I am now past the point of being able to claim the second $50.00 copay on my flexible spending account. It is ridiculous that a company can operate this way and no matter how good the dr is, the billing cost me a loss of $50.00! Leigh offered me a 55% discount on that bill, which obviously I took, but I shouldn't have been held responsible for THEIR ERROR! I should also mention that during my phone call with them, she tried to put their error back on me, because I supposedly should have known that I would have two $50.00 copays for one visit! After my appointment there was one person being helped at the front desk and a black man clearly waiting in line (I'm white). I got in line behind him. The front desk person looks past him and calls me up, I gestured to him but he told me to go on. I assumed checking out would be quick, but they had a hard time getting the card reader up then tried to get my pt appointment scheduled, but by then it had been more than a few min. I told them I was uncomfortable taking so much time when there was a person who had been waiting there longer than me and asked if I could schedule it after they helped the person behind me. The receptionist then told me if I wanted to get to the BACK of the line to wait and get scheduled, I could go ahead and do that. The line was now out the door. They then ASSURED me they would call to schedule it. After two weeks of no call, I called and got through but they transferred me to Lebanon to get scheduled for mj. I had to leave a vm, never got a call back. I called again the following week and it took about three hours and multiple call backs to finally get on the schedule at the end of the year. So I'm pretty sure one of the receptionists is racist and they're also impossible to get a hold of.

I told her I was very sensitive to smells and especially cleaners make it hard to breathe. The next week I am doing PT in a chair and Faith sprays the table next to me. While this time my face didn't get wet I did inhale the fumes. There was no warning this was going to happen. I called the office 866-800-9147 and explained my problem. I was assured someone would advise them to not use cleaners in the same area I was doing PT. I go for PT that afternoon and the same thing happens. This time a different therapist named Lori had me doing PT in a chair and started spraying the table next to my face. If these sprays are disinfectants then they are certainly toxic to inhale. I find it very inconsiderate of this company not to help me out with this problem!

I had a knee replacement at AOS on Oct. 3 of 2025. I had been told by many people that I would be…read moreout of commission for about 3 months after a knee replacement. Then I read about AOS where they use a "Southern Method" and go in the side of the knee instead of the front thus lessening the pain. I had AOS do my surgery and I was pleasantly surprised. They had me walk up and down 3 stairs and walk down the hall right after I woke up from surgery. I walked out of the hospital to go home. I was able to go to PT 3 days after surgery. If i had been working in an office job, I could have returned to work 4 weeks after surgery. The doctor was excellent and well prepared for any problems that might come up post surgery. I had minor pain and was able to resume my household duties within a week. I am 82.
