If your dog is anxious, high energy, or a young working breed, find a different vet. If you have young children at home, find a different vet. If you prefer to see or talk to the same vet assistants each time, find a different vet. From what I understand, the practice was purchased from an older vet a few years back. It shows in how young the entire staff is. There is a lot of turnover with the vet techs and assistants so it always varied what kind of information I'd receive. When I started bringing my purebred puppy in for service it was assumed that I would neuter him at 6 months. When I said he would either be neutered at 2 years or possibly not at all, I got argued with. Even though I made it clear if and when he would be neutered they still asked every appointment. When I brought him in for diarrhea and said I was removing pork from his diet as it isn't good for his breed, the vet tech got snippy that I knew something she didn't. She also dismissed what I said like I wasn't as educated as her (the internet exists). Side note: removing pork made a huge difference in his poops. If your dog has issues, give it a try - treats too! I don't know what they do when they would take my boy into the back, but he has become VERY reactive and fearful as a result. I had to let his groomer know when he'd been to the vet as he would be more cranky than usual for her and made her job harder. The last interaction provided conflicting information was the one that had me leave. I'd missed giving him his monthly Simparica Trio and he ended up with worms. I took a stool sample in and asked if he'd need a dewormer. First tech said yes he would. After the stool sample came up clear the second tech and the vet both said he didn't need an additional dewormer, give it a few weeks and bring in another sample. I have an infant at home. My dog had live worms in his poo and coming out of his butt. I went to Tractor Supply and got dewormer, which is what my husband had said to do in the first place. They're probably okay with cats, smaller dogs, and senior dogs. They're also good about refilling meds or approving online prescriptions. They aren't as knowledgeable as they should be, and seem to give mixed advice as well as do the minimum in making sure that the medication provided (especially sedatives for anxiety) is the right one. Vet care is already expensive. Go somewhere that cares holistically about your dog and your dog's family. read more

My nose recent incident was calling for an appointment with my sick cat and there was no one able to help me figure out what to do because their was no one qualified to answer questions when the clinic opened at 8 and I had to wait until 1 for someone to tell me I should have already take her to an emergency vet. Very disappointed in the care my animals received. Seen by a different vet every time, was given inconsistent advice about my cat and promised different treatment plans just to go back and say oh they need to be seen again without any answers to pay another visit after paying almost 500 dollars for initial work up. I unexpectedly rescued two bunnies and found out that most of the vets near me don't see bunnies. The team at Dublin Veterinary Hospital gave me some prelim advice over the phone and then got me in to the office in just 2 weeks. Dr Mick spent plenty of time with me answering all of my questions. I can't say enough good things about my experiences with Dublin Vet and Dr. T. I am always able to get appointments quickly, and even same day when there is an urgent concern. Staff is incredibly friendly and gentle with my scared cats. When my one cat needed a dental procedure, I was given prompt updates. i have used the vets in Dublin for 6 years. They were right around the corner for the first 3 years, but i was so happy with their care that my pup remained a patient even after moving 30 minutes away. The office staff and techs are patient and friendly. The vets are attentive and they don't keep you waiting. Their prices are fair, certainly more reasonable than the other vets closer to home. Most important, they have taken very good care of my cocker spaniel, and have been very understanding when i have to weigh cost vs care options. Sadly, we are now discussing end of life care, and they have been very supportive and kind while I navigate these decisions. read more

I could not be more pleased with the care our bearded dragon, Freddy received. The staff was extremely friendly and the veterinarian, Dr. T was extremely thorough. It hard to find a veterinarian who treats reptiles. We had taken our beardy to another Vet a few months backs as he had lost a lot of weight and wasn't eating. They suggested that he was going into brumation and gave us a list of things to do. They never examined him properly (which I discovered after watching Dr. T examine him) and did no testing. Several months later and he's looking worst. My son found him on his back one day. We thought he was dead. Thank God he was not and we tried to get him an appointment with the same Vet. Lucky for us they couldn't accommodate us for several days so we found another vet. Freddy is critically ill and not out of the woods. We are hoping that he will get better now that he is properly diagnosed through an exam, blood work, and an x-ray. We are so pleased and plan on transferring all our animals to this veterinarian. I would rate them a 10 on a scale of 1 to five. I highly recommend Dublin Veterinarian to everyone!!!! read more
