Called Hampton's for a tow to take the car down to Highway 16 Auto Repair which was exactly 9/10 of a mile away and was charged $100. Then on top of that the only form of payment they will accept is a debit or credit card yet for using your credit or debit card they charge you another $4 fee for a total of $104 for a 9/10 of a mile tow.

The vehicle is on the other side of the street, but, due to how everything is laid out, it makes it difficult to not hit their vehicle when coming out of our driveway. The neighbor and I spoke about this month's ago and they have kept that area clear since. Now, because of the understanding, should I say, we will be having more issues with this. He showed up within 10 minutes and after trying a few times to jump start my car, he called back to their shop and Junior arrived about 5 minutes later with the tow truck. Junior was able to get my car restarted and they sent me on my way to get a needed new battery. I didn't have any cash on me but had a gift card in my car - they refused to take any payment for what they considered to simply be the right thing to do for a neighbor in need.
