He cut a hole and cleaned it out, then patched the hole with screws that can be taken out next time we need them cleaned in 7 or 8 years. We could not be happier. He said the vents that were cleaned 4 or 5 years ago were pretty clean, the problem was in the blocked vents. I used to have to dust every single day, now I can go 3-4 days without noticing much dust where it used to be thick every morning. I highly recommend COMET AIR DUCT CLEANING! They have cameras that show before and after cleaning and they give you a copy at the end. They also disinfect the vents they clean. Who wants to deal with high temps for three weeks with no air conditioner! Matt is the owner and my husband reached out to see if they would be willing to work with our home warranty company and he was completely willing to work with us, coming out in a timely manner to install our unit. When the supervisor at the warranty company spoke with him, she immediately offered him a contract to work with them and be a provider in our area, she was very impressed with his professionalism.
