This is the first shop I went to when my children were learning to walk. The staff there are fully trained in how to measure a small childs feet, especially when they are just starting to walk. I think this is really important, as they cannot tell you if the shoes fit them or not. The staff offer a treat (with parents permission) to older children when they get their new shoes (and siblings often get one too). Younger members of staff are supervised to ensure they learn how to correctly measure a childs foot. I have never felt pressured into buying new shoes - in fact if my child didnt need them then I wasnt told I need any new ones. Prices are expensive - but you are paying for quality and correct fitting and sizing which is important when dealing with your child's first shoes. This shop does, of course, sell shoes for adults as well but I dont really find those to my taste. read more
