They have lots of bargains especially at the end of the day where they will sell whole trays of fruit and vegetables for a couple of pound. The fruit always looks fresh and is loads cheaper than the supermarkets but they do have some competition from Bracknell market when they are open. The staff are friendly and always have a chat and try and talk you into buying other items and telling you about the things. I really recommend this shop as they are friendly and have a wide range of fresh tasty fruit and vegetables.

Not us in Esher, we have been privileged to have Garsons Farm on our doorstep for... well, the farm has been running since the 1900's. Garsons became what it is known as today around 20 years ago. It has expanded in the last few years, but what it is primarily known as is a place to buy free range, organic, and where possible, locally sourced, fresh produce. Everything that you buy here is delicious. The fruit and veg are plentiful, and comes in both fresh and frozen quantities. There is a large deli, an extremely well stocked cheese counter (which won best cheese shop of the year 2008), a wide range of pre cooked and frozen meals, and plenty of freshly baked cakes and pies. Garsons also covers the American contingent as well. There is a large community of American families living nearby, and Garsons caters for them by supplying treats like Betty Crocker, Aunt Jemima, Goober Grape peanut butter, Lucky Charm Cereals and of course, lots of boxes of macaroni cheese. I know that these things are not what comes under the umbrella of organic goods, but everyones got to have some treats sometimes!

I asked about the beef one afternoon and the farm shop/farm owner was there and she explaind how the animals were cared for and you could tell she was passionate about producing good qualtiy meat from animals that were well cared for. Also good quality local produced items like jams, chutneys and breads. The meat pies are fantastic overflowing with meat and so far I have never found any gristle or fat in them. PYO fruit is always good especially the strawberries :-) if you visit take time to pop into the tea room they have excellent cakes and do fab food and sandwiches none of the sliced mushy muck proper bread the whole meal is especially good. In the summer they often have a small boiuncy castle and they also have a covered sand pit and a wooden climbing frame.
