The food is really good and the prices are amazingly cheap, even for Mexico! We tried the chicken and waffles, lemon ricotta pancakes, and the chilaquiles. All of them were good.
Chicken and waffles: It's milanesa de pollo (a boneless chicken breast pounded flat then breaded and fried) not the classic southern fried chicken. While disappointing it wasn't the classic style, it was still really tasty and comes with a delicious bbq sauce.
Lemon ricotta pancakes: I have not had lemon ricotta anything since I left California (the last time was this great food truck in Oakland that does lemon ricotta donuts, but I digress...). I was really surprised to see it on the menu in Mexico so of course I had to order it. And this did not disappoint. Their pancakes are surprisingly fluffy and come with just the right combo of lemon and ricotta. Perhaps the best pancakes I've had in the last three years.
Chilaquiles: My better half said "not as good as Ojo de Agua, but pretty darn good." They must have been because I did not get even a tiny taste bite. read more
