My honey had the goat cheese fritters, bang bang chicken dinner portion, and the tiramisu. The fish cake seemed more mash than fish but had lovely flavors melding. I loved the tenderness of the sea bass and mixture of flavors with the veg. The sticky toffee bread pudding was a delight, with a brûlée top and complimentary scoop of ice cream and a dab of berry sauce. The tiramisu was equally delicious, with another surprise of berry in the middle. The sound gets as loud as any place we've been and it's difficult to hear across the table, but we otherwise enjoyed our meal here and are grateful to have some yelp references again.

The server was somehow managing all of the tables while still maintaining a sweet attitude. We had a couple well made cocktails to start and their mussels (special). As the first I've had in the area, I'm not sure if this is typical of the area, but they were fantastic. Floating in a creamy sauce that can be sopped up with brown bread. (And Irish butter, which is just so much better. If only there was a way to take home to the States!). We also had the goat cheese croquettes in truffle honey. Delicious and a bit sweet, this would also have been substituted for dessert. My friend and I shared the rack of lamb. The meat was fall off the bone, on mash, gravy, and pea purée, topped with crispy onions. Lovely meal, great introduction to Belfast!

I had the tomato soup which was particularly flavorful and very rich. I really like the taste of strong soups. Paired with a crisp, well-balanced salad, it made for a perfect combination of light yet satisfying dishes. This sticky toffee is something. It's like a brownie stuffed with caramel but it's not caramel, it's something else, maybe a date mixture? I don't know and I don't care. It was scrumptious. Moist and tender are a given but the taste is just so divine with the caramelized onion, cheddar, and horseradish mayo melding into an union of perfection. It's hard not to describe one of the most memorable meals of my life in such hyperbole but the vivid recall I have of this particular place is uncanny and merits all the praise I can heap upon the fine folks that run the place. If timing had worked out, I would have eaten as meals here as I could have but I'll thank my lucky stars for at least giving me one opportunity to eat such a wonderful burger at such a wonderful eatery.
