I already had a prescription from one source and wanted a second opinion. So I went to Dumas Vision Source. I really liked my other doctor but, really this place absolutely wowed me. I am super impressed. Everyone from the Doctor to the Optician to the Receptionist was very friendly and helpful. Plus, I should point out, everyone I spoke with was extremely experienced -- super professionals with about 3 decades of experience. Experience matters. At the same time, they use the latest state of the art technology. They also have a really great selection of frames. They almost make me wish I lived in Dumas so I could shop there more. read more

Dr. Moore and his staff are so very friendly and provide exceptional service. No matter how busy they are, I never feel rushed or neglected. Thanks to Dr. Moore's skill, he quickly diagnosed an eye problem that, left undiagnosed, could have lead to a horribly debilitating situation. Even the surgeon to whom Dr. Moore referred me commented on his keen & quick diagnosis being "right on the money" and the fact that Dr. Moore is such a great doctor. You can feel confident having him take care of you and your families vision needs and concerns. Great service, exceptional care, & just wonderful folks! read more

Established in 1990.

Dr Moore opened his practice directly after finishing his optometric training in 1990, having a vision and a passion to help people in the Texas panhandle to see better and to prevent blindness. He started with one employee in a 900 sq ft office and now has 7 employees in a 2000 sq ft office.

Dr Thornhill fit me in without an appointment with very little wait. The office staff was very friendly and professional. I have an old eye injury and Dr Thornhill took extra time with me and was the first eye doctor in 24 years that recommended not correcting the eye that had not been injured. She fitted me with contacts and I can actually see things again! My only disappointment is that I live far away, so I won't be able to go back and see her...unless I can get in another road trip this time next year! I highly recommend this practice.
