One of them is that during quarantine, my son and I can walk over so that he can run wild! I'm super hesitant to write this review, because I really don't want it to become crowded. But, there's never anyone there. I've never seen another soul on the playgrounds and I pass the school multiple times a day going to and from my house. I finally felt safe taking my two year old this week for some vitamin D and outdoor play time. As always, he loved it. They actually have a sign up saying that their facilities are open at this time, but to proceed at your own risk :) Looks like they've redone the pathway to the two big kid playgrounds and track since we last visited. It now has stairs and an accessible ramp for folks with wheelchairs or strollers. We did a couple laps around the track and it's a nice change in scenery from our neighborhood, which we have stuck to during covid. I've heard nothing but wonderful things about this school and staff and I'm looking forward to my son being a student there in a couple years.

Veritas is a great school for people who value a classical, humanities-based education. It is a…read moreprivate school with uniforms and expects a high level of engagement from parents and kids. When my daughter came back home several weeks into her freshman year, she said, "I'm so grateful I went to Veritas. I know how to think and am prepared for college." There is an emphasis on critical thinking, rhetoric, and Latin. We have made a lot of great friends from the parent community.
