I learned of Duncan's when my out-of-town sister sent me an incredibly beautiful flower arrangement, the likes of which I had never seen. It was a mixed bouquet made of flowers I hadn't seen before, along with red berries that I thought unusual for summer but that gave a great accent "pop" to the arrangement. The flowers were so unusual, and long lasting, that when a friend was feeling blue I didn't think twice about sending her a similar Duncan's arrangement. This was the first flowers I had sent anyone in over two years. The owner looked up my delivery from a few weeks back and made a similar bouquet for my friend. I purchase a ton of flowers for my wife and daughters on special holidays. believe it or not, I always buy from Safeway in CDA. the customer service and quality of flowers are amazing and the prices are also decent. I had a friend give me a hard time about purchasing local, so I tried these guys. I paid a very large amount for flowers for my daughter's birthday. I purchased them online and called the store. the person I spoke with was in no way customer service oriented. I explained that I wanted the school colors. The flowers arrived much later than we discussed. They have brown edges and are nowhere near the school colors. never again Duncan's Florist Shop. You just lost all opportunities with me: I cannot get that experience back for my daughter. I also know that her friends noticed too. They commented that they were not the usual fare. read more

Ordered over the phone as have used them before with great results. However final product looks like an inexpensive gas station bouquet at 10x the cost. Really disappointed in flower selection, design and added artificial addition (which I specifically said I didn't want). Bummer. read more

I found this florist shop online and chose them for a few reasons. I found their online ordering system user-friendly, it allowed me to order for the same-day delivery (ordered only about 3.5 hours before they closed), and I liked their selection. If I could give them a 10 for following through with delivering a beautiful arrangement the same day as promised, I would. Duncan's Florist Shop will be who I order from directly from now on. Ordered 75$ flowers online and the person ended up not being able to get the flowers delivered and I was still charged full price, there wasn't even an offer to discount the arrangement, or return them! The flowers themselves for that price were horrible could have bought 3 dozen long stem roses at Costco for that price and there wasn't any roses :( the picture showed roses that I ordered for that huge price! I chose an option online; they called to say she lived in a rural area and would be additional $25 delivery and they couldn't make the arrangement online, but would put together something they had in stock. My husband had ordered many bouquets from this shop and have all been lovely until this Valentine's Day. They completely messed up his order and did not listen to the flowers that he wanted in it. So when I contacted them about it they blamed my husband for not speaking up when he picked them up! What man knows the exact names and can match the flower to them! I knew it as soon as he brought them home that they weren't what he asked for. So I contacted them asking if we could work something out and they told me that is what he ordered. Which he definitely did not! Their customer service is lacking quite a bit! Especially if you pay a good chunk for flowers, you better get what you pay for. Also the flowers died just 3 days after we got them! Florist flowers should last at least a week, hopefully more. So all in all, we will NEVER be going back to Duncan's! Which sucks, because we really did like them. But how they handled our complaint was extremely unprofessional and not customer oriented. Do Not Order if out of state. they will try and scam you by sending your loved one cheep flowers. They sent the wrong flower and the wrong vase. The only good thing is they did give a full refund...but they came to the house and took back the flowers. The girl who showed up did not even say she was sorry for the inconvenience. I got my flowers for Mother's Day less than 24 hours ago and already the hydrangea is wilted terribly. The one side of the arrangement didn't even have any flowers in it. When my daughter saw them she told me to rearrange them myself. It had 6 roses in it and you could only see 3 of them. It was as if a toddler arranged them. read more
