They have back in spots with power and the septic dump is in the center of the property near the showers. The cost is reasonable at $35 a night. We would definitely stay here again! We took a paddle boat for a spin and my kiddo had an awesome time! That was an excellent addition to the experience.

It has a small lake which is nice. Some spots have fire rings. They sell Propane on site at a reasonable cost. I have not been here through the winter yet so we will see how all that works out. I would definitely recommend if you are full timer that you can invest in an extended stay kit and some additional bottles so you don't have to move your motorhome or camp trailer down to the bulk tank to get propane the bathroom and shower facilities are well maintained if you choose to go that route When I first moved in, they did not have what I considered to be the perfect space for me but once it became available, the staff was very accommodating and helped me get set up a big shout out to James the maintenance guy. thank you so much for all your help and thank you to the young lady that I talked to on the phone about any issues and I'm sorry I cannot remember her name. FYI: Might be a bit verbose and more a review for the 15 mile point to point hiking trail…read more I knew what I was up against, and went anyway. Read on a trails app that it was technical--yes, yes it was. And also read a review in that same app left on Oct 12 ish, that water might be scarce due to drought--that said, my friend and I left a water stash at a gravel road drive, off the trail about 3 miles from the east trailhead. My Subaru and I were NOT ready for the roughness of the terrain--first time "Off road." Got in and out unscathed! Yay! We started the trek later than we thought we would--which is fine, because the scenery was great! Such a beautiful area! Worth the 2-hour ish drive. Made it through the "Squeeze" downhill. Packed in about 1.25 before we decided to pitch our tents. Had dinner on one of the scenic bluffs during sunset and as you can imagine, a wee bit chilly but a stunning view, so it was worth it! Next day, had breakfast on the bluff during sunrise--what a treat! Then headed out to our water stash. We decided we were achy enough to not go back the way we came. Went to our water stash and refueled. Used that (Subaru terrain) rocky road to go back to the main road and follow it back to the car park. *What I learned: as a newbie backpacker it was challenging, but probably would be even if I wasn't? I carried about a 30 pound backpack--probably packed some fears in there--but now I know. Would I go again and do things differently?? Heck yes!!

Our 3rd nudist resort stop was at Prairie Haven, in Scranton, KS (about an hour outside of Kansas…read moreCity). It was remotely located down a gravel road, and had a beautiful welcoming front entrance. The whole grounds had lovely old trees which gave it a beautiful natural feel. We chose to stay in a small bathroom-less "cabin" rather than tent since it was going to just be a quick overnight stay (and forecasted to rain in the a.m.). As with the last two places, this was an AANR nudist resort, not clothing optional. It was perfect weather so we took a dip in the in-ground pool and met some lovely members. The hot tub was hopping & we listened to stories & shared ours. Only one couple had been to any FL resorts or any other nudist resorts. It is in a pretty remote area. They had a second above-ground "activity"pool reserved for lap swimming, aerobics, and pool volleyball. Both pools had newer deck areas around them & the sunning deck had new colorful chairs & umbrellas. The rest of the facilities were quite a bit older (probably original from the 70's) & starting to look & feel a little sad and in need of some structural & esthetic updates. Same with our "cabin" - it was a small structure divided into two bedrooms by a flimsy, thin wall. That's all we're gonna to say about that. The small, stuffy clubhouse has a fully stocked community kitchen. It doesn't look like it's used for anything more than that. But it was clean & functional & appreciated. There was also a large covered pavilion with an outdoor kitchen area. Their old sand volleyball court was turned into a pickleball court, which was next to a remote-controlled car dirt track. Seems to be a thing in the mid-west. Wish we could be there for one of those events. There is a huge, very flat open field which they said they use for fireworks displays, Molke, and golf cart races! We strolled up on their weekly game of Molke & were quickly invited to play. We love this about nudist places - everyone is always welcoming & inclusive. This club only allows a limited amount of male or female single visitors or members (10% of their membership) so keep that in mind. And after 3 visits, you have to become a member. It is a co-op where everyone is expected to pitch in to maintain the facilities & grounds to some degree. If you visit, look for the many adorable (mostly nude) gnomes sprinkled throughout the common areas. It was almost like a scavenger hunt to find them all. It lent itself to the rustic whimsy of the place!
