New owners? Not sure but donuts are bigger and better and have a lot more filling in them. Great job.

I wanted bagels one morning for breakfast, and they are across from my mechanic. So we came here and it was great! They seem to have a rolling selection of special drinks, and the ones for Valentines day sound amazing! I got a double espresso one and wow is all I can say! They have a few kitschy items for sale, usually seasonal from what I can tell. A decent selection of pastries and a nice selection of bagels. We tried a few of them and were happy with out selection. We got a plain bagel with cream cheese, an everything bagel with butter. A cinnamon raisin bagel with cream cheese. A breakfast burrito! And I forgot what else. The bagels were divine! Light airy chewy and delicious! No matter the spread! The burrito was a hair dry and needed something like ketchup or SnP or something, but was still delightful! There were only 2 people working in the back and it took a few minutes, but that is probably due to the burrito lol! Im sure we would have been in and out in 1/4 the time with only bagels! The 2 ladies were very friendly! Inside is a cool relaxing environment. Some comfy chairs to relax in, some tables to have a bite to eat at and a couch to also relax on. We cannot wait to come back here!

My GPS said I'd arrived but I had to look up a picture of the place because it's in an old Victorian house set back from the road with a couple other businesses. Being set back allows them to have a quiet outdoor seating area with plenty of shade which you pass by on your way inside. Inside is very cute with much more seating, big bright windows that let in the afternoon sun and decor that blends the coffee shop seamlessly into the beautiful old house. I ordered an iced almond milk latte, my warm weather go to. The counter person asked if I wanted any flavor/syrup and, while I usually don't because I don't like sweet coffee, I acquiesced because she said she could make sure it wasn't super sweet but I still got the flavor. This was quite literally the BEST iced almond milk latte I have ever had the pleasure of drinking. The salted caramel syrup lent just a hint of sweetness but full flavor. The espresso was flawless. I sipped my latte while walking back down Main Street to my car in 80° weather with flowers blooming and birds chirping and it was the perfect lunch break treat. I will be back.

This place was a little hard to find at first because it's not easily visible from the street like the other shops. You have to walk down a pathway, past the outdoor seating area, and the entrance is at the left side of the building. Great local spot and would be lovely to hang out with friends!

The latte was good (not delicious), but a tad watery with a fullness of flavor missing. It was a rainy Saturday afternoon and the place was busy, but not overwhelming so. Tables were full, but it was only a short wait for me to place my simple order (by coffee shop standards) of a small, vanilla latte. However, once my order was taken (yes, the wait-server was pleasant) and I paid, I was left to figure it out. First time in and so I didn't know what the deal was: do I wait where I am? Pick up at a different counter? Ok...but where? Does someone call my drink out when it's ready (there's no put-your-name-on-a-cup thing -- which IS annoying, but apparently can be more handy than I've previously thought)? Is the order stated when the cup is placed down? The person who waited on me had vanished into a gaggle of chatting and giggling girls behind the counter, so I asked another customer. (FYI: you wait at the perpendicular counter to your left of the register.) No big deal, but it's one of those "little things" that separates the four stars from the five. I moved to the "wait" counter and observed a few drinks being placed down -- all beverages in similar cups -- and had to (again) ask someone else for help (i.e., which order was mine), as the barista who made my drink put it down and then disappeared into that gaggle of girls. (Also minor, but another separator of the three and three quarter stars from the four.) In short, the latte was good, but not the best. The service? Ok, but not the best. The ambiance? Again ok. Maybe because I've lived in SE Florida for more than 20 years, but it definitely does not have that true Boca feel. Nonetheless, given the options in the area, Hamilatte is a welcome attempt at something different, and definitely a preferred choice to Starbucks. I will return if I'm nearby, but I won't go out of my way (as I do for a truly 5-star establishment).

I adored their original location, as it was super quaint, quirky and cozy. When they first moved to this new spot, it felt a bit more clinical and commercial but they've done a great job of personalizing it, and I'm happy they kept a lot of the original furniture. My favorite item on their menu is the Whitefish Toast -- it comes on a fresh, thick, hearty piece of seeded toast, and the whitefish salad is dressed with pickled carrots and micro greens. It's a pretty generous portion at a reasonable price. I also love their seasonal Campfire latte, which is a rich, creamy delight with a touch of sweetness. On this visit, they had run out of the marshmallow topping but they kindly offered a partial refund to make up for it. The only downside is that this place gets packed early; by 8:45am, the only seat available was in the window. People seem to post up for the day with their laptops, and while everyone loves a good coffee shop work sesh, it seems ownership may need to institute a time limit so others can enjoy the atmosphere as well. If you're dreaming of stellar coffee, tasty locally-sourced food, and nearby access to the river, this place answers all your prayers.

Hopefully this will be rectified soon, as this type of business is a boon for coffee lovers. I stopped in by chance when I recently had business on base, and I was as giddy as a kid in a candy store with a free pass. I'm a coffee lover, and also have a Keurig which I love. I like trying new coffees, and hadn't heard/seen many of the brands and flavors they carried here. I purchased a dozen for myself as well as a gift certificate for a friend. You get 24 K-Cups for $14.99, which is a lot better deal than through many coffee clubs as you usually get a 18 count box for the same price. Their flyer shows the cost as $12.99 for their other locations, but this may be due to the fact that the base doesn't charge sales tax and they need to account for that. Even boxes in the supermarket go for $8.99 for just a dozen, and you don't get to choose the ones you want. Pretty much any way you look at it, One Cup Joe is a great deal. They carry everything from super-caffeinated coffee to teas and cocoas. You can mix and match and try a little bit of everything. This is SO MUCH BETTER than ending up with a box of coffee you don't like after trying just one k-cup. This location also has full boxes of the cups, as well as a Keurig to brew an individual cup for $0.99 to see if you like a flavor/brand before buying a full box. Genius. The guy that came up with this idea is absolutely genius. He is growing the business and opening new locations, and I really hope he expands into my area. I do have to go back to JBMDL every couple months, and I guarantee that this will be one of the stops I make.
