3 and 3/4 stars. Someone said a "slice of Boca"? No, not quite. (Although "not Boca" isn't necessarily a bad thing.) However you look at it, the comparison is inflated. The latte was good (not delicious), but a tad watery with a fullness of flavor missing. It was a rainy Saturday afternoon and the place was busy, but not overwhelming so. Tables were full, but it was only a short wait for me to place my simple order (by coffee shop standards) of a small, vanilla latte. However, once my order was taken (yes, the wait-server was pleasant) and I paid, I was left to figure it out. First time in and so I didn't know what the deal was: do I wait where I am? Pick up at a different counter? Ok...but where? Does someone call my drink out when it's ready (there's no put-your-name-on-a-cup thing -- which IS annoying, but apparently can be more handy than I've previously thought)? Is the order stated when the cup is placed down? The person who waited on me had vanished into a gaggle of chatting and giggling girls behind the counter, so I asked another customer. (FYI: you wait at the perpendicular counter to your left of the register.) No big deal, but it's one of those "little things" that separates the four stars from the five. I moved to the "wait" counter and observed a few drinks being placed down -- all beverages in similar cups -- and had to (again) ask someone else for help (i.e., which order was mine), as the barista who made my drink put it down and then disappeared into that gaggle of girls. (Also minor, but another separator of the three and three quarter stars from the four.) In short, the latte was good, but not the best. The service? Ok, but not the best. The ambiance? Again ok. Maybe because I've lived in SE Florida for more than 20 years, but it definitely does not have that true Boca feel. Nonetheless, given the options in the area, Hamilatte is a welcome attempt at something different, and definitely a preferred choice to Starbucks. I will return if I'm nearby, but I won't go out of my way (as I do for a truly 5-star establishment). read more

Nice coffee shop with decent coffee. They offer a lot of flavors and creative beverages. You'll typically find people camped out here with laptops. The atmosphere is modern and relaxing with a few couches and a few tables. There's also an outdoor patio. They also offer a rotating selection of pastries and breakfast foods too. read more

Ever since moving into the area, this has been my go to coffee shop and I cannot recommend it enough to people. The staff are the sweetest people you will ever meet and will adjust your coffee or any drink that you get to perfect perfection. I have gone multiple times and they would let me sample different coffees before I get them as well. Their specialty lattes are the best that I've ever had . Sometimes you see specialty coffees that come off gimmicky and actually taste really bad. I've had several different specialty coffees at Hamilatte, and all of them have been phenomenal. My favorite one is the Biscoff latte so if you're looking for a drink to try, definitely start off with that one. They also have a wide variety of different pastries. Both gluten-free and vegan options are available as well! you'll see that there is ample seating as well as couches in the café. A lot of people will work from home or come and study there. I can't wait to keep trying more items on the menu. read more

A really beautiful, calm and lovely cafe! I was looking for somewhere to get a cup of coffee before visiting Grounds For Sculpture and Yelp bright me here. There are so many things to rave about: -a really big space! They have tables, couches, stools. Although I didn't stay long, it seems like a great spot to bring your laptop or a friend and stay awhile. -a parking lot makes everything so much easier. -good coffee, I got a hot latte the hit the spot. -all of your typical pastries, plus some. All the scones, muffins, croissants, etc. I tried the spinach and feta empanada which was very tasty. Would have loved it to be heated in an oven instead of a microwave to get toasty and crispy, but still good. All of this and less than 15 minutes from Grounds For Sculpture!! My new favorite spot!!! I've gone here several times already and love it. The parties are delicious and the herbal tea is yummy. I have yet to try more here and report back! Otherwise, sitting at the stools looking outside is so comforting while sipping on my tea and eating my apple pastry. The temperature inside is mostly warm and cozy. The single bathroom is very clean as well. I can't wait to keep trying new things here! I will be back with a more detailed review later on. read more

I've been trying to force myself to really like this place, but unfortunately there are a few aspects that just fall short. First, it always feels a little awkward parking here for me - not sure if it's because most of the spots are on a small hill or what, but it's not a big deal regardless. Inside, the ambience is pretty darn cool! I like the vine-y wall, and I'm excited at the prospect of live music (I don't think there have been any performances yet). I can definitely imagine coming here to do some work on my laptop. The sticking point for me, though, is that the food and drinks are just not that good. Well, the drinks are sometimes fine, but there are some quality control issues that we've encountered during our visits. For example, the temperature of our hot lattes has been extremely variable. Sometimes, they're nice and hot, while other times they're almost cold. When we first started going here, the coffee cups were insulated, but recently they got a new shipment of different cups which lack that insulation. It's obviously not comfortable to hold a hot latte without any kind of protection (cardboard cuff, insulated cup, etc.). We've tried a couple different food items and they were underwhelming as well. I do think that these issues are fixable, so I'll probably come back at some point to see whether things have improved. read more

I was in NJ for a business trip and decided to try a new coffee spot instead of getting starbucks and this place did NOT disappoint. First of all, the inside was so cute and aesthetic which is always a plus in my book. Also? It is importabt to note that I am not a big coffee drinker (i like my coffee to taste more like a treat/dessert) and the Cookie butter latte was PERFECT for me. Stopped in the afternoon for a late day beverage and some snacks with my boys. Wide variety of coffee beverages and sizable selection of food available at the counter including croissants, muffins, fritters, danish, cookies, wraps and several other things that I'm sure I failed to mention. The service was very friendly but very green. This is a new establishment (they've been open about a month) which may account for some of it, but the young man and women working behind the counter didn't seem to have much experience in service at all. We got a muffin, some macarons, some cold bottled beverages and a coffee. The muffin was a bit dry and not very flavorful, and the macarons were of below average quality (they may have just been a bit stale). The coffee was fine, but nothing special. The space was clean and inviting. All in all, nothing terrible going on here, but nothing noteworthy either. There are places to get both better baked goods and coffee at a better price point in the area. read more

The pistachio latte I had was to die for. I recommend more bland snacks such as popcorn and biscotti for sale- every wrap was chicken (not everyone eats ckn) and really sweet desserts all there was to eat. How about some beef or tuna wraps? And somethings to go w coffee that are not all that sweet- The reason I hesitate to return was the horrible cold temp inside. I had to keep my winter jacket on whole time there; left feeling chilled, on a raw 45 degree day. Please realize that "comfy" means nice and cozy warm in the winter, late Fall and early Spring. Crank the heat up and pay the cost of it to provide a really comfortable environment for folks of all ages! I had been thinking of hosting a meeting of a start-up social group at your place. But, if ur going to skimp on the heat I will go to the more reliably comfortable environment of other coffee/casual food venues. read more

So Finally!!! A coffee house sprouts up in our cozy, quaint little Hamilton Town. When you walk in for the first time, you pause for the inexperience of the homogenized, antiseptic establishment this town is so used to being infiltrated by. You stand at the counter looking at the brown paper bag paper menu board on the wall which, thankfully, has more coffee choices written on it, in a lovely handwritten script, than it has light fare choices. and what's this? "Live Music on Friday and Saturday Nights"? You begin to relax apprehensively in anticipation that this almost shabby chic environment may be different than the corporate choices littered in each direction a half mile down the street. You are soon aware of The Wombats new version of Greek Tragedy playing at the perfect volume in the background as you are asked for what you would like from the barista. Subconsciously you wonder...I may have already found it, and wonder, " Do I really wanna try the coffee? What if it pales in comparison to the environment? Ok, here goes...be brave...expect the best and be disappointed. It won't be the first time." A pistachio latté please. You look around and notice plenty of different levels of sitting places (sorry for the non-committed reference) and choose your comfort genre as you wait to possibly be let down by your beverage choice. Reading my book on the sofa while waiting a little longer than expected for my drink, I'm reaching yet another level of comfort almost hoping it will take longer before my name is called so I can finish the chapter I'm on. And I'm not at all disappointed when that happens. Coming back to my book from retrieving my order, I am hesitant to destroy what I'm really hoping will be the real deal coffeehouse I'm only too accustomed to experiencing in other off the beaten path villages south of the border (I-195). Glimpsing out the back window, procrastinating the expected sip of disappointment, I am pleased to an additional level to see the likes of a sizable outdoor venue taking place as the March cold, wet days are beginning to be teased by the warming tides from the south. But will this place last, or live up to the experience I've encountered so far, or will it even be the setting worthy to be called a "Coffee House" that I am so eager to not commit to until I take that first sip? Only 2 very young people in the entire store - 30' later no cappuccinos - guy had to redo them - no where close to real cappuccinos. The coffees that I've had were wonderful; I had 2 fancy coffees. Both were delicious but not hot enough. Half way home it was cold. Dropped in with a couple friends for post-dinner lattes and we each enjoyed our specialty drinks, but did so out in the car due to the very limited seating. It was for the best since the live band, charming as they were, filled the small space with way too much sound. We didn't try any of the food offerings but they do offer a broad selection of savory and sweet bites. The barista provided friendly and helpful service.
