It's a shame as I spend over $800 a month here for various reasons. I repeatedly have a problem with the same employee. Tonight was unfortunately the night she went too far. The store had a sign out front saying they will close at 6pm. Look at my watch and see there's about 35 minutes to closing. Great I think, as my family and I were getting ice cream, just enough time. We get our ice cream and there's about 25 minutes to store closing. We sit down and start eating and at 5:45 the very rude employee comes over and says "We close in 15 minutes and you have to leave now". I say oh I thought you were open until 6 and she says "we close inside early". I tell her ok we'll start to pack up. She goes over to the door and says "I'll just stand here while you do" with the door wide open on a very cold night. She literally stood there the whole time with the door open waiting for us to leave. On the way out I can see she's covering her name tag and about to do something stupid. I snap a picture as I know I'm going to have to report her. Lo and behold, on the way out She says "thanks for coming in so late". I ask for her name and when her manager comes in and she says "I don't have to give you that, and we open at 5am." I ask again for her managers name and she says "oh, did I make you upset" in a condescending voice. Can't believe the customer service displayed by this person. After reading the recent reviews, it wouldn't surprise me if she's single handedly responsible for all the negative reviews. Feel very bad for the owners as they have a problem that's causing them bad reviews at an otherwise good location. Keeping this review up until they decide to contact me or address the problem(her). read more

if only you could put a -5 stars because this business owner deserves that and so much more. so does majority of the staff. i order a special order of pre-packed qrts 12. they said they'd call when they came in. i said i needed them that weekend. they said they weren't sure when they would them but that they would hope they'd get them by Thursday. i placed this order on monday. 2 weeks went by and still i heard nothing. i called to check on the order. mind you my husband had been by several times asking for them and they said they didn't have them or anything in that flavor in stock. so we thought it was still being processed. during this call i was told it was there and in the back. i said WTH? we've been by and asked about it ... the guy on the phone said.... "we were waiting for you to call about the order". like WTF!!! i placed the order for your product and I'm supposed to call everyday to check to see when you get some i want to pay for? you were supposed to call me! how asinine for a business to expect a customer to babysit a special order. i even said I'd take all they had. then i said you know what. no, this is crap. I'm not paying this business for another penny. i can buy dunkin coffee at costco and i can get baskin ice cream at the store. i don't need this store. i hope you go out of business. sorry to your staff. clearly you don't care as an owner so should i care as a customer. NOOE! i asked for a military discount for the inconvenience. they said they don't do them but they offer police ... i said then give me that. I'll still show my military ID so it will be legit for military. the guy said he asked the owner and he said no. this place never has flavors we need and it doesn't have the service that stands for customers to return for business! i wouldnt come here again and i won't recommend it. which sucks because its so close to my home. you lost a customer who would have become a regular spender. how stupid can you be as a business owner. read more

This dunkin is most of the time a miss. Wait time is pretty quick not much waiting around even when the drive through is busy. While the wait is short that's probably because your coffee or food was made wrong. My biggest complained is if you order online good luck, you will be dissatisfied because your order will be wrong. If you ask for flavor in your coffee in an online order just forget it because 100% of the time they just won't do it. I've never ordered online and actually got the coffee I asked for. I worked at a dunkin for 2 years and it's really not hard to take your time and complete things and to pay attention but this staff just does not. Better luck going to a McDonald's or something, you would have better odds getting what you ask for. read more

The products offered by this place are standard Dunkin' Donuts. They are the same. you'll find anywhere, but the breath and the width of the incompetence in the way this place is run and managed is flabbergasting. I have never gone to this establishment and not had an unreasonable wait or had a screwed up order or something in between it is by sheer market dominance of the branddominance the place run this poorly could stay open. read more

Let me start by saying I am a big fan of Dunkin. When I want to treat myself to a breakfast sandwich, any time of day, Dunkin is my go to. With that being said, I had a terrible experience here. I am going to say for certain that this was my first, and last time, at this particular location. Too bad, because I have to drive down Old National Pike, through Middletown, on my way into the office. When I arrived just before 8am I was 3rd in line, yet it took well over 20 minutes to get back out the door with my coffee and sandwich. I was half paying attention to the people ordering in front of me, and just assumed they were being slow, etc. I'm not typically an inpatient person, or anything like that. When it finally became time to place my order, I saw the issue. There was a significant language barrier, which was really frustrating. I tried to explain what I wanted several times, but the cashier was clearly confused, and kept asking me if I wanted bacon, multigrain, and other random words that were not in any way related, and sounded nothing like the sandwich I was trying to order. Keep in mind that the sandwich wasn't special, but actually pulled directly from their menu board. After the 4th or 5th time of her trying to repeat back my request, and still getting it completely wrong, I resorted to pointing at the oversized picture on the menu board directly behind her (a large advertisement), as in that is the sandwich that I want, please, exactly what I want. I had to do this a few times actually, and then another employee came over, they had a discussion amongst themselves. Then the cashier walked away, came back, had another side discussion with the same employee, and then after a few more minutes I was finally rung up, paid, and my receipt did reflect my order. The food itself didn't take long to come out, and was good, but it was just not worth the frustration trying to get to that point. Luckily there are plenty other Dunkins only a slight detour off the highway on my way into work. Next time I'll stop at one of them instead. read more

Get the kids off the phone empty the trash and pick up the trash,, granted the mud pit out front dont help,,,( get landlord to put In pavers for you... I just went to the Dunkin Donuts (11 Jul 2021 @ - 1:30 pm)  in Middletown, Maryland. 21769.  As we were driving away, the lid to the coffeee fell off and poured all over my hand and leg. It was extremelty hot and hurt like hell. The person who prepared it apparently didn't secure the lid.  Oh and by the way they didn't even fill the entire order, they didn't include a sausage and egg bagel that we had ordered. We went back to the store and returned the order. We got our money back. I sent an email to Dunkin Corporate. They said the Middletown Franchise owner would get back to me within 2 days. They haven't. This type of incompetence is inexcusable. read more

I usually never post any reviews, but this was too bad for me not to. I ordered 2 charli cold foams, one with oat milk. They gave me 2 cold foams with almond milk in both instead... I have a nut allergy. They repeated my order back to me correctly, so I assumed I was fine, but seeing almond milk on the cup and knowing I drank half of it was worrisome. I already feel kind of sick, but my receipt for some reason says almond milk, too. On top of that, I also got a chocolate glazed donut, in which they also gave me the wrong donut. I LOVE this Dunkin' Donuts! I work at Detrick and have the option to stop at two other locations on my afternoon drive home, but I always chose to stop here because the staff are very friendly, have wonderful customer service and most importantly they are consistent. I don't treat myself everyday, but when I do, I know my drink will taste exactly the same regardless of what day I stop in. I've been to several other locations in the 10 years I've lived in the area and my drinks always tasted different or the staff would tell me they didn't offer my drink when I know I ordered it there before. I've been patronizing this location for a year and have never had one issue. read more

I ordered a classic chocolate donut from the App. When I tried to pick up from the drive through, the cashier said she didn't receive the order. When I showed her the order, she still didn't know what to do. After I waited for a minute in the car watching her avoiding eye contact with me, I offered to go inside to sort it out. Inside, I showed my order to another person, who turned out to be the manager. She too, looked all over and triple checked the printing machine. She informed me the order is not in but didn't offer any solutions. I explained the order was placed over 8 minutes ago. Reluctantly, she gave me my one donut but mumbled something about next time I should...? At that point, I was fuming and asked if she were the manager. Unfortunately, she was. I told her I would not have gone through the trouble of coming in and cheat her of just one donut. I questioned what I could have done differently but again, she mumbled. I also let her know that I didn't appreciate her attitude. She thanked me again and said, "Have a nice day". I'm not saying this DD's foods are bad. I'm just very annoyed at the manager's unprofessional attitude. I believe as such, her morning staff are also learning to place greater value on the goods over customer satisfaction. The coffee was like hot water. We ordered 3 donuts and asked her 3 times if there were 3 donuts in the bag. Sure enough 2 donuts.

This is a terrible Dunkin. 9/10 times the order is wrong. I don't know if there is a language barrier or if the microphone doesn't work at Drive-thru, but you have to repeat your order several times and say a Hail Mary they got it right. The owner had two previous locations burn down, why does Dunkin keep giving this guy a new location????? read more

I keep trying to like this location because of convenience, but they consistently mess up my order. Today, I ordered and paid for a large hot coffee with cream. I received a medium. A month ago they told me my app balance was "wrong" and made me pay 1.33 in cash in addition to my app transaction. I still have $1.39 in my app balance. read more

I don't believe I've ever posted on Yelp before, but I was extremely disappointed in my order--or lack thereof--from Dunkin' Donuts this morning. I tried using Uber Eats to order from Dunkin' in Middletown at 7 am to deliver 4 miles away In a suburban area. Uber Eats and Dunkin' in Middletown accepted my order. My receipt stated that the food and coffees would be delivered at the latest at 8:50. The order was cancelled at 8:50. No problem if you're getting busy, but cancel the order earlier than having the entire delivery time elapse. A waste of our time. A bit irritated at making breakfast plans all over again at a much later hour. read more

This Dunkin Donuts is relatively new to the Middletown area and as a resident of this town for my entire life, I can easily say that I was impressed with the service at this location. The staff is friendly and fast to deliver your order. I have gone a handful of mornings and had little to no wait in line. There is also a Baskin Robbins attached to this store, but it in no way affects the quality of the service. read more

My boyfriend went through the drive-through and ordered two coffees, an egg white wrap for me and a sausage croissant. They gave him everything but the croissant and when he asked where it was they said they didn't charge him for it so they had to run his card again. Then when he got home we discovered that the egg white wrap was actually a bacon egg and cheese wrap. I'm a vegetarian so I told him he could have it, but he even said it looked too unappetizing to eat. read more

Love this spot. Employees are fantastic and the coffee is great. Drive thru is super fast. Donuts are soft and fresh. I would recommend this spot to anyone. Most of the time I just go through the drive thru but when I take the time to go in they have a very clean and comfy place to enjoy your coffee and sandwich. Glad they came to Middletown. read more

Do not use a gift card at this store! The food and staff are great, a wonderful addition to Middletown. However, when I tried to use my gift card, they ended up charging me 3 times. I went into the store to talk about it, but they weren't the least bit interested in making this right. They told me that I had to call the card support people. Why should I have to fix a problem that they caused? I have better things to do with my time, and there is another store right down the road. I felt vindicated about my problem, when a young lady came up to me and said that she had the same problem, and they had no desire to help. read more

I was running late to work and didn't have time to make my own breakfast and coffee at home, so I stopped at this Dunkin' to grab breakfast. It wasn't until I got to the window to pay that I realized I had left my wallet in another bag at home . I was apologizing and telling them not to worry about my order anymore when the manager came to the window and said, "Would you like to just come back later to pay?" That nice lady saved my morning!! I am frustrated that I am writing this. I went in Monday this week to order a birthday cake for my husbands 40th birthday to be picked up Wed at 5pm. One Wed at a little before 3, I called to see if I could pick it up early due to the snow. I was told by the girl that there was no order. I proceed to ask her, how this was my fault: I ordered it, filled out the form and was told to pay for it when I picked it up. She said she would call the cake decorator and call me back. Again when she called back, she repeated that they had no cake and that they were closing now so there was nothing they could do. I proceed to ask for a manager to call me back because I felt I deserved to know what happened since I was now without a cake for my husbands birthday. Needless to say it has now been three days and I have left several messages (no one answers the phone when I call) and no manager has called me back. I was hoping for some sort of explanation and maybe even a sorry... I have received nothing. I am super sad for this to have happened... read more
