The hostess reminded us to let our server know we were participating in the fundraiser. Our server was excellent throughout the meal--friendly, attentive, and professional. We ordered two cheeseburgers with everything on the side ($31.38), both served with steak fries. What worked well: Burgers arrived quickly, in about 10 minutes. Burgers were hot and appropriately sized for the bun. Cheese was nicely melted. The brioche bun was tasty. Service was excellent. What didn't: Both burgers were ordered medium rare but arrived closer to medium-well. Burger wasn't centered on bun, had to move it to eat it. The steak fries were warm rather than hot and lacked crispness. Most were left uneaten. The burgers were somewhat dry and not juicy. At 6 ounces, they felt a bit thin. With a Yard House newly opened across the parking lot and a Shake Shack coming soon, Red Robin faces some serious competition. Improving the quality and consistency of its burgers and fries would go a long way toward helping them compete.
