We were greeted by Jennifer, one of the owners, she was friendly and very helpful. We ordered from the counter and the food was brought to the table. They offer plenty of cake, pies, cookies, muffins and scones. The coffee and tea selection is huge and fresh, only downfall is the styrofoam cup. We ordered sandwiches, I had an everything bagel with double egg and my husband opted for the USS Pennsylvania, a chicken Philly with a side of coleslaw...it was huge we had to do a double take when it arrived at the table, literally two sub buns. I did not expect it to be part of a large lifestyle center development. It has been open for a while, but there is still tons of building going on around. The entrance did not say Primer, instead it had a Canvas sign. That was confusing. When we first arrived there were not many people but after about 30 minutes more people arrived. When you walk into the apartment building, there is also a shared workspace there as well. So there were quite a few people there working and meeting. There's not like a designated place to order, as far as I could tell. So if the bar was all full, it would be really awkward to order for a coffee setting! There was only one person working, so service was really slow. Which I didn't mind, but I also wasn't there working! I wasn't quite sure where I could enjoy my coffee either, since I didn't want to be in the way of any of the shared working groups and meetings. My coffee was DELISH though! I had a hazelnut latte. We made a reservation via email and the staff were quick to respond. The menu isn't large and tea choices were more limited than other tea rooms I've been to. I chose the mint tea and my friend got the chamomile. We each received our own small tea pot that had its own chamber inside to steep the tea. The pots weren't decorative but they got the job done well and I liked that I didn't have to strain the tea myself. We were allowed to pick out our own teacup and saucer. For lunch, I tried the broccoli salad with potato soup and herbed bread. My friend got the broccoli cheese quiche and soup. My salad didn't have much dressing on it - I would have preferred more but I believe it was a premade salad. The soup was ok as well. She said her quiche was tasty. Unfortunately I forgot to grab pictures. I would rate the food 3/5 but the tea a 5/5. Overall, I think the tea house is a nice option considering there aren't many in the area and I'd try it again.

I think this says a lot about starbucks and how much they care about their customers. I work at pulp and we are open until 9pm and if a customer walks in anytime before or at 9:05 we are obligated to serve them no matter what.
