So here we are at Cheshire Coffee, a coffee spot that sits oddly enough on the Waterbury side of the town line with Cheshire. Seriously, this place I don't even have to go outside my city limits for, and it is, notably enough in between the same two exits on I-84 as Blackie's is across the line. Much like The Loaded Goat Coffee Company in Naugatuck, this place is very inviting, cozy, with great coffees and excellent customer service. This visit involved an asiago bagel toasted with cream cheese, a beef chimichurri sandwich that the baristas panini-pressed for me, and a Churro Latte. All 3 of these things were good to great. Really, this review is mainly a 4-star review in the way that a place I don't have much of an impression on would get 4 stars. I would need to come back for more things to decide whether or not a 5th star would be warranted. But the interior helps makes a strong case for that star. I was most impressed with the poem on display as I was waiting for my coffee. It's not a detail I've shared yet here on Yelp, but this visit 's prompt me to say this now.
