They have a very goood food section attached and as it is near the car park entrances, then is handy, as it means you are not faced with carrying bags of shopping through the main shopping centre and can get to your car easily to load them in. For me, I prefer childrens clothes areas to be downstairs in a store and in this Marks they are upstairs (although there is an elevator). It is just personal choice, though, as I always feel downstairs is less hassle when you have kids in tow.

One bug bear, though, and I have it with other shops, is the stairs. It was re-fitted a few years ago and they didn't put in an escalator, which was a missed opportunity. They have tried in recent years to update their image a bit, especially in the clothes section upstairs, but I don't really know how effective this has been. Downstairs is good for toiletries. They have a small toy sectiona nd usually extend this a bit at Christmas, as well as having Christmas decorations stock at the rear. Till points are behind the old fashioned display counters in the various sections of the store so you don't have to go hunting for them.

Downstairs, you can buy anything from sweets and toiletries to handbags, toasters and artificial flowers! Pop upstairs and you can browse through a good selection of furniture, lighting, pictures and more! Only downside is if you have young children with you, there is no public lift, so you either have to ask someone to mind the buggy and carry your youngster upstairs or give upstairs a miss. Their seasonal department towards the rear of the groundfloor changes from gardening in the spring/summer to halloween/christmas in autumn/winter. Always loads of choice no matter what you are looking to buy.

Lidl is a German-owned discount store which seems to have done quite well here in the last eight or…read morenine years. No-frills discount stores are pretty well received in Belfast, and that's led to Lidl opening several stores over here. This is a pretty spacious shop, and is usually well-stocked. They're also trying to make a name for themselves for being inexpensive for fruit and vegetables. I'm convinced I kept one of their lines of stock in production - Moordale's 100% beef burgers. They have a great bite to them, and when they're on special offer they're only £2.39... a great addition to any barbeque. Lidl has a lot of special offers, many of which are detailed in their promotional leaflets, with offers on a weekly and fortnightly basis. And it's not just food that they do, they sell items like DIY tools, outdoor furniture, plants and flowers... I think it just depends on what they've managed to get a good bulk discount on. They also have a selection of beers and wines, and usually have special offers on selected lines. Worth checking out.

That's just passe! I'm talking 50, 70 percent and even more! You just got to be patient and wait for the big price cuts. Mens suits under £30, jackets £8.99, shirts £2.49, these prices may not be available everyday but they happen often enough! I've never had so many suits in my life and i've at least two good quality jackets that cost less tha £10 each.
