This is a true story. I put my confidence and trust in Dunphy Real Estate after moving to Yellow Springs. My American dream was about to come to fruition. What I did not assume, due to my optimistic nature is that the broker had alterior motives. NEVER trust them. As a new buyer I assumed that I would be informed of the ins and outs of buying a home. Unresponsive regarding repair of their rental properties. They will hold you to the exact terms listed in the contract. They will give no favors for paying early or doing your own repairs. Caveat emptor. Avoid them if you can and make sure everything is in writing. They are in it for the money. Do not mistake any signs of friendship. You are a "$" and nothing else. read more
