This is a local business that offers classes in resin and glass. There are so many different kinds…read moreof classes - in addition to the usual fused glass, slumped flower / coral bowls, stained glass, etc. they also do flamework and of course resin classes which I haven't seen elsewhere. Watch for seasonal classes (heart paperweight! turkey ornament!). Unlike the other suburban glass studio I've taken classes at, they also have a gift shop, so you can buy something instead of having to take a class if that's your jam. You could also actually buy the piece used to advertise a class. Pieces are affordable and there's a wide variety (cute little succulent gardens, stained glass, glass ornaments, resin keychains, etc.). Class prices are similar or a little less than what I've seen elsewhere, and if you become a member they're cheaper. Yes, they do open studio. I took a resin class, which was easy and fun; the teacher was patient and helpful. Class sizes are small (I actually got a solo class as a group canceled at the last minute). The owner was there, who was happy to show me cool projects related to the class I took, as well as to offer information about other classes they do. Signage is pretty good; you have to drive down a driveway to get to the businesses on the ground floor - look for the sign. Lots of parking.

I've visited many times and always find it welcoming with a unique and carefully selected assortment of gifting ideas. They sell beautiful cards hand made by the merchants mother which is usually what I stop in for. I'd like to comment on some of the reviews regarding prices. While you maybe can save a little by ordering and purchasing some of these products online, the prices certainly are not outrageous. I, for one, appreciate having a store to shop in. There is no substitute for being able to see and touch items. A storefront comes with cost. I'm willing to pay a little extra for the shopping experience. I've also seen them sampling products quite often as well which is always great. Keep up the good work!

I had installed it into my present house and my wife and I enjoyed looking at it every time we walked into our bedroom. Last year I noticed the glass was coming out of the leading holding it together. Upon further investigation I realized that the wood frame was rotted on the outside causing the issue. The glass was literally sinking out of the frame. After searching the internet I stumbled across Art Glass and Studio. I'm sure glad I did. Lawrence (Law) was a pleasure to work with! He was honest and realistic about his timeframe for assessing the situation and actually getting the work started and finished. I really appreciated that he let us know that he is a busy guy handling a number of projects at the same time but would give our window his utmost attention when our time came. He gave us plenty of options for the repairs working with our budget and suggesting different methods for reinstallation of the window. The option we chose was to make the window a decorative piece instead of an actual permanent window. That way if we move again or our children want the window to stay in the family after we're gone it will be easier to move it to the next place. When it came time for our window to be worked on, I removed it from our house (my choice to save money) and took it over to his shop. Law started on it and kept us informed as to how it was going. Once started, he finished it quickly and it looks great! In this day and age of "bait and switch" it was such a pleasure to work with someone who actually does what he says and does great work. This window was built around 1870 and thanks to Art Glass and Studio (Law) it should have another 150 years of in it. I highly recommend them

While the MAC hosts a wide range of cultural programming year-round, what has drawn us back time and again, now three times, are their exceptional, large-scale art exhibitions, presented every two years. The most recent of these is the 2025 exhibition Hokusai and Ukiyo-e: The Floating World (on view from May 31 to September 21). This immersive experience transports visitors to the lively and refined world of 17th-century Edo-period Japan. The exhibit vividly captures a time when Edo (present-day Tokyo) thrived as the cultural and economic heart of the nation, defined by its devotion to the arts, nature, and the pleasures of daily life. A highlight of the exhibition is the U.S. debut of the Museum Galleries - Chiossone Collection, featuring a remarkable 70-piece selection of ukiyo-e masterpieces. Among these are 53 original paintings and woodblock prints by renowned artists such as Hokusai and Hiroshige, alongside 17 beautifully crafted objects. Together, they offer a captivating window into Japan's "floating world." The MAC consistently excels in delivering these world-class exhibitions. The experience is not only visually stunning but also engaging and educational. The staff are welcoming, knowledgeable, and always ready to enhance your visit. Last, but not the least, there is a very nice gift shop there. We bought some cute Japanese noodles and rice bowls with the "floating world" art theme from the gift shop. Attending an art exhibition there is truly a joy, and we look forward to each new one.

But it's still cool and definitely worth a visit if you're an art enthusiast.
