They were nice and got us in quick... spoke a little English but the processes for doing nails in France are not the same... I asked for dipped nails... I'm pretty sure she did acrylics ... I can't remember what my friend asked for but she also got something confusing and different... hers worked... mine was not well lasting they started crumbling at the 2 week mark. Don't want to give a bad mark it may have just been a language barrier read more

When I travel, I tear and break my nail. They were a mess when I arrived at Dupin Nail Bar. Not only is the staff kind, they do an excellent job. This will be my go-to place for manicures whenever I am in. Paris. read more

I missed my appointment back home, so I ended up going to Paris without my nails done. I decided to get them done once I got there since the salon was only a 10-minute walk from our hotel. Booking through the app was super easy. I don't know any French words, so I was really thankful we were able to communicate. I was an hour late because our hotel wasn't ready for check-in, and I wanted to shower after walking around while we waited. Still, they did both my fingers and toes so quickly without sacrificing quality. They didn't waste any time, and I still get compliments on my nails! read more

I am a student in Paris from NY and I do not speak very good French. This salon was super accommodating and my stylist (Tem ((excuse my spelling)) spoke beautiful English, and paid significant attention to the details of my nails (shape, design, etc) consistently asking how I felt about them. I am extremely satisfied and will be returning when I need a fill! read more

My nails were a wreck when I got to Paris, went for a long walk the first day and decided to search for a nail shop. Dupin was close and had good reviews. They fit me in as a walk in for a regular mani/gel pedi. This is a sweet little neighborhood nail shop and they couldn't have been sweeter. Did a great job on fingers and toes and were delightful the entire time. Price was good, location quiet but close to Place du Sèvres. Would go back on my next visit for sure! read more

Came here with my fiancée on a rainy day. We wanted to have our nails done, especially because I was gonna surprise my fiancée with the engagement ring later on! So I wanted to make sure our hands were photo ready! We made a reservation and it was easy to communicate our details & such. When we got there, we were greeted and entered the small nail shop. It took around 45 minutes for gel manicures. The staff were polite and friendly. Unfortunately, we both got cuts on our cuticles and within a couple days the gel peeled off pretty easily. The manicure held up for the occasion but didn't last. Price was fair though. but if you're in a rush, it's worth a shot but otherwise I would look elsewhere. read more

I called in the day before to get an appointment for 2 new acrylic sets with designs and 1 gel manicure. We were greeted warmly and the nails turned out beautifully! One note is their website prices don't reflect the current price. Calling on whatsapp worked best when booking multiple appointments at the same time. Extremely clean and calm salon. I walked in at 18h with no appointment and requested a gel manicure. No other customers at the time so one woman went straight to removing my regular polish. 2 customers with appointments walked in and I was asked to wait. It wasn't an issue for me as I was happy to find manicure last minute. Nail prep, filing, cuticles were done perfectly and I'm very happy with my polish result. It's been 1 day so can't speak to gel longevity yet but the tech was fastidious about application. I will definitely return to Dupin Nail Bar when I'm in Paris. Ftr I speak no French...correction, enough to be polite but not to ask for manicure specifics) and the 2 women in shop were accommodating and professional. read more

My husband made an appointment for me for a no chip/gel mani and I was quite nervous because of my previous experience in Monaco (my nail was damaged). As soon as I as walked in, I was welcomed in most professional and attentive manner. The owners and nail technicians made me feel at ease and did an excellent job. My no chip funny bunny lasted for over three weeks (in the US it lasts about 10 days). The best mani I ever got. I highly recommend Dupin Nail Bar to anyone looking for a lasting mani and a great service. I am going back there in July with confidence and excitement. read more

My mom and I went here for my birthday to get a normal pedicure and a manicure with shellac. The nail service was pretty good. Both my toes and my finger nails look great after only 3 days. However the actual massaging portion seemed short for mine. They took a little more time on my mother's pedicure massage. Also, we had to bring my son since he was only a few weeks old and would need to feed in between our services. They were very kind when near the end he started to get fussy but my nails weren't complete nor were my mothers. The owner ended up offering to hold him and he settled right down. Lastly, we did not realize it was cash or check only and they were willing to let us try to pay with card but I think for a little fee because originally they said 59€ for manicure and pedicure plus 14€ for shellac on the nails so our total should have been 146€ but they charged us just over 160€. We weren't upset though as they were very accommodating and worth the extra expense. read more

This was my first manicure since moving to Paris, so my opinion is in comparison so the nail salons I've visited in Boston. The prices in Paris are shockingly high but this was the most reasonable I could find. I for a gel manicure and it ended up being €39 plus tip. The price was high BUT my nails look awesome and I'm very happy. She took her time making sure each lay was very thing and not touching any skin, so I know this shellac will last the coveted 2 weeks! Very happy! read more

Sanitation is not their strong suit. My daughter and I went for pedicures. They finished a pedicure before me and sat me at the same pedicure bowl and told me to put my feet in. I had to ask for it to be cleaned. And that went for everything. read more

Amazing service, nicest people ever and the prices were AMAZING. Their acrylics are gorgeous and if not their gel and basic manicures are the best. They put so much care and pay attention to every detail. One of the best nail places i've been to and I li've in New York and always get them done. My nails feel so healthy and clean it was an amazing experience. RECOMMEND TO ALL TOURISTS IF YOU DONT KNOW A SHOP!!!!! They speak english, good prices because in Paris nail places are very expensive but this one had amazing prices and service. Would go again! Thank you so much. read more

Excellent work! And fun color suggestions and banter from the technicians and other patrons (all Parisian women...I was the only tourist). I'm very pleased with the result. At each step the technician checked in with me to make sure I was content. Cost for a gel mani+regular pedi +partial gel removal (I had picked some off) came to 78€. Now off to take some photos with the Eiffel tour in the background! xo read more

I arrived in Paris in January because I've been studying abroad here for the past five months and so I wanted to find a place to get my monthly waxes. If you're looking for a new place look no further... the workers here are so nice ans great at what they do! I had heard about the experiences of my friends at other chain waxing salons and didn't want to risk it, so I took the time to find this place. I'm so glad I did. If I have a confirmed appointment I don't want to wait. Standing outside in a drizzle, I was kept waiting 15 mins. as the shop was not open. When the manicurist finally arrived (parking had been so hard to find...) I was already unhappy as my schedule was tight. I had the speediest and less than professional manicure I've ever had anywhere. And to make matters worse, by evening I had to remove the smeared polish as it was clearly old and never had dried properly. I fail to see what all the rave reviews are about - but based on those I had picked Dupin. Pass. read more

Such a cute nail salon! I'm staying at Hôtel Lutetia and was in desperate need of a manicure. A quick search on Yelp and this salon came up as within walking distance. I'm so glad I dropped by! The salon goes by Nail Bar right now and the owner is a very sweet Asian lady. I wish I lived in Paris because this would totally be my go-to place! The prices are very very reasonable. When you're walking, don't walk too fast as you might miss it, just look through the windows and if you see someone getting their nails done through the window then you're at the right place. You have to be buzzed in. Now onto my manicure, she did such a great job. And as I came in,there was another client getting her nails done who was from NYC and she had said that this manicure was one of the best if not the best she has ever received! I agree! Owner is very meticulous and you don't get a sense that she's trying to rush through the job to get you go out there. Definitely worth a visit! Tell her the Asian girl from California sent you! Amazing manicure. So kind and patient when I buzzed the door unannounced, with very little ability to speak French. Gosh, I never got her name, but we worked through conversation well enough, and she just worked away not phased when i had to take a work call! So sweet. The small salon is super clean and really adorable. The time she spent making sure the entire process was perfect, was such a welcomed treat in comparison to the dime-a-dozen and really expensive salons on the upper east side of NYC! Whenever I'm back in Paris, I will make a point of going back! And, the cost was nowhere near what I pay in the US. Like the review just before mine, I found it on yelp, and love love love that neighborhood, so it was a welcomed wander over from where I am (disappointingly) having to stay with clients in what I think is considered Etoile. The nails are very solid, and just the way I like it. But they don't get rid of the dead skin around your nails, so that's a bit disturbing for me. But I have to say this nails, I can see them last forever. read more

This review applies to normal manicure. I know it might seem strange that the bar has consistent 5-star review, but let me tell you why: - i have never gotten as detailed and accurate work as this place - everything is very clean and sanatized - the atmosphere is very cosy and friendly, the owners even helped me practice my french! - the result is amazing, and it feels great! I would def recomend a visit to this place. Its a charming salon and you will end up with good results! read more

I called to try to get a last minute appointment yesterday on Easter Sunday, which is almost impossible in Paris, as all salons are usually closed on Sundays and not to mention holidays. They said they were full, but half an hour later the owner texted me saying there was a cancellation and that I could come in, so I was ecstatic! The owners are so sweet and personable. I got a gel manicure and was very happy with the results. She took her time and didn't rush through any part of the process - from cleaning the underbed of my nails to filing and applying the base, color and top coat One thing to note is that this place is cash only, and I didn't have enough, but an ATM is closeby. As I was a little pressed for time to go to a dinner after, the other owner offered to walk me to the ATM so I could give him the money directly and could go straight to the metro. I found this nail salon not far from Le Bon Marche and also Angelina is nearby. I sent a message on Yelp and secured a booking, the ladies who work there are helpful even though French is their second language and English their third, I love the elegance of nude natural nails and they did a great job of shaping my nails, soaking, removal of dead cuticles, hand massage and polish for 25 euros, there were also French girls getting their nails done short rouge noir which looked amazing, I highly recommend. read more

Such a good salon!! Very friendly staff and very good job on my nails. I had the acrylic fill in and shellac and even though it's pricey if you convert it to pesos (52 € for the 2) is such a good deal for paris. Very similar to salons in Mexico! Im very very happy :) read more

I walked in without an appointment but fortunately there were some cancellations right at that time. The place is small and at first I was a little skeptical but wow, what a wonderful experience here at the Nail Bar! My nail tech was an adorable Vietnamese woman, who didn't speak much English. But I was able to get by and have great rapport with her using the french I know. She took her time and was very meticulous with both my mani/pedi. After probably 2.5 hours of dedicated pampering, I was in love with the outcome at a reasonable price! My hands and feet were so soft and pretty! This woman understands service! She even offered me tartine and tea as a snack after hearing my stomach growl. I would highly recommend this salon - though be sure to book an appointment to avoid any issues. read more

I was in Paris and really wanted a pedicure and manicure . By the time I was done sightseeing for the day, all the nail salons were closed. I called and spoke to the owner and begged her to stay open. She spoke almost no English but seemed to understand my plea. By the time I got there she was closed. I knocked on the window. She smiled and let me in. We didn't finish my pedicure and manicure until 10:00 on a Saturday night. She was so incredibly friendly. Truly a kind person. She gave me a great pedicure and manicure. Her salon was small, clean and very cozy!! I highly recommend this place! She could not have been friendlier! It was a GREAT manicure and pedicure too!! read more

This salon is wonderful! The people are who work there are extremely knowledgeable and nice. Their polish selection is great (mostly OPI for regular polish and Gelish/Shellac for gel) and the tools they use are clean. It is cash only. The woman who did my nails was very attentive and really took her time perfecting my nails. Overall, this is the best manicure I've gotten, I love how my nails came out, and it was totally worth the splurge of 25 euros!!!! Will definitely be back! read more

if you want to go to a nice manicure bar in paris and you want to feel at home, go to Dupin Nail bar. you have to entrance by the side door because you cannot go inside straight away. Aussie just arrived in Paris in desperate need of manicure (gel) and pedi. Made appointment, arrived 10 minutes later. Despite language barrier we managed to figure out what we were saying then her husband came in the door who spoke English and we had a fantastic 3 way conversation. My favourite nail bar ! The ladies here are so kind and helpful. I broke a nail the day of my ball and they redid ALL of my nails for FREE ! They are amazing ! I went here on a trip to Paris for a party and needed a last minute gel manicure. They were very accommodating with a last minute appointment, the color selection was terrific and after 2 weeks my nails still look as good as the day I had them done. Downstairs, there's a private and peaceful cave-like room where they do the facials and full body massages. There's only one bed though, so you can't come with your BFFs to get massages all at the same time. The service, experience, and brands here are special so it's on the pricier side, but would make for a nice treat. You can preview their products and services online. They're quite knowledgeable about all the products but aren't pushy. The owner Juliette is really sweet and also speaks English if, for example, you don't know how to say, "I'm looking for a hair product that will give me a perfect slightly-wet, silky look all the time."

The nail tech took her time and made sure my nails were perfect. You will pay slightly more here than some salons, but the atmosphere is very cute and peaceful and the salon is clean. The tools were fresh and clean, coming out of a sealed package right in front of me! (Which I've noticed nail salons in Paris not being nearly as clean generally as they are in the US) The only downside was that I could tell the nail files and buffers were not new, but used on multiply clients. I'm not sure what the laws are in France, but this practice doesn't seem super clean. Overall, a lovely experience! The best nail salon experience I've had so far here.
