During a road trip from Arizona, our older Jeep Cherokee broke down in rural Texas. Two mechanics at other shops in the surrounding area had already looked at the Jeep and admittedly said either they could not figure it out or weren't able to fix it. This left us with no choice but take it to a dealership on a Friday in a small town. Let me say that this was a scary proposition for out of towners with dealership trust issues. Wesley, the service manager we worked with, was amazing. Very professional and very courteous. He assured us that we were in good hands. They properly diagnosed the car and gave us the news. He made several calls to get the needed parts but it was gonna take a couple days to fix. Great. Stranded. In Snyder, Texas. Trip ruined? Wesley wasn't having any of that! He got us a loaner vehicle so we could still make our time in the area a fun experience. We were able to get our car back on the road and get back to Arizona with good memories and not bad ones. When we were in the lobby I read the display sign they had on the table. It talked about how they do business (see attached photo). What stood out: "We do the right thing without respect to profit" At first I was skeptical. Just words on a page. Does anyone ever believe that anymore? Well I have to say they delivered in spades, exceeded all of our expectations, and gave us faith that not all dealerships are out to take advantage of customers who, in our case, had no other options. I had the vehicle a month and just made my first payment December 12th. After having it for 1 month my exhaust came apart and when called them to let them know about it they asked me to bring it in. They said it was going to need and new exhaust system and that it was going to cost me $1200.00 to fix it. I just bought it a month ago and just made my first payment this month. I feel like they took advantage of us. Why should we have to pay 1200.00 dollars on a vehicle we just bought from them? We will never purchase another vehicle in Snyder again. Don't deal with Randy..he will flat out lie to your face to make a sell. We should have went to another dealership out of town. Very unethical! They sold us an SUV with a fatal flaw in it. After two years of driving it, they…read moretold us it couldn't be fixed and made the remark that usually it didn't come up until after you reach 70,000 miles. In other words, they knew it was going to happen. To make matters worse, we had a sick child that I was driving to the hospital over an hour away in the middle of the night. If the SUV had broken down, she would have died in it. Then they pressured us to sell the SUV to them (because they said no one else would buy it with the flaw) and buy another from them that was way too expensive for us. They used the tatic that if we didn't do it immediately, we would be stuck with an unfixable vehicle that "mind you" THEY SOLD US KNOWING IT WAS GOING TO EVENTUALLY BE UNFIXABLE!
