Went on a Saturday to have my $2500 worth of engagement ring/wedding band looked at to see if I…read morecould collect anything off it. immediately when I walked in there was one lady and was rude, short with words and unhelpful. i had to basically greet myself for her. and then I asked her if she could take a look, and she said "fine, but we close in 30 min" ripped the ring box from me and looked at it for a total of 3 seconds and said it's cheap silver and that because it's so cheap there's nothing she can do with it. she rolled her eyes and handed it back to me when I asked for more details. Had a completely different experience with Pelican Pawn in Baton Rouge. she added "it's too cheap" as I was walking out as well. nice way to greet customers. probably should think about new management, or better yet- a management training class.
