My salesperson was not knowledgeable. I do not feel I received the best offer and regret because I was naive and unfamiliar. The salesperson contradicted herself the two times I met with her, which was confusing and frustrating for me. She provided no clarity of the process. She told me she gives better prices than the other employees one of which is the owner who is also an attorney. She handed me a sheet of paper to sign. I thought it was for her handing me the check. She did not explain that all sales are final. I called to speak with the owner the next day but I was told he would return the following day. When I did speak with him, he made excuses stating the employee is very young, has only worked there two or three month in training and she made a mistake. He was not apologetic. He told me it was the law he cannot give back the seller's item(s). I read that by law a company has to hold the item(s) for 30 days and securely stored to ensure it has not been stolen and items have not been processed or put on the floor yet so I should be able to have my jewelry returned. I told him I thought he was argumentative, defensive, sarcastic and disrespectful by disrupting me and the rude manner in which he was speaking to me. Someone in this line of business told me these companies by law do not have to give back your item(s) but can if they want to. I also Google searched and the information stated within 2 or 3 days you can ask for item(s) back (I did not understand what I was doing and I made a mistake), returning check or cash and offer an inconvenience fee as a reasonable manager will often let the seller buy back the item(s). I called back and spoke to a different person. He was kind, he apologized for my experiences and that he understood my feelings. He said he would talk to the owner and call me back. He called me back and said the owner would consider giving my jewelry back after he does hard thinking. I felt encouraged. My jewelry is expensive and the jewelry is sentimental to me. I received a call the next afternoon from a different number. She said she is with I believe the personnel office. I did not understand why she was questioning me. I asked her if my jewelry was being returned to me and she said "No." I tried to explain my experiences and frustration but she kept interrupting me like the owner. She said the employee said something different from what I said and that it was on camera that voice records. I know what the employee said Saturday and then differently on Monday. I felt the woman calling me was accusing me of lying. She also said that what I Googled is not accurate and that the company has in-house counsel. I told her I know it is the owner. I did not think to tell her the man employee said that the owner would think about returning my jewelry. They both debated me in our conversations and they both disregarded my feelings. I felt intimidated by both. My experiences were unfavorable and I do not recommend this company.
