He hires a crew and doesn't do any of the painting himself. His crew requires constant reminders, they are very very unorganized, and they forget your directions constantly... I mean constantly. My house looks great paint wise because paint is paint and I had to babysit the crew, but I still stare at all the places they missed or covered up when they were not supposed to despite multiple reminders. If you need anything not painted, do it yourself and don't trust that Gene's "crew" will remember because they will mess up. If you want a company you can trust, I would look elsewhere.

Last summer, they painted the entire exterior from a dirty dull beige to a lively white with black trim. They patched up all the holes/cracks in the stucco, power washed, and taped EVERYTHING! At the end of each day, they cleaned up and put away the tools so the house was still accessible. It's crazy how different the house looks compared to before. I'm just loving it! Then over the winter, Chris' team returned because I wanted my garage refinished. I had 70s paneling and broken/crumbling dry wall. Considering how much time I spend in my garage, I can't believe I lived with such an eye sore for so many years. I gave Chris the hard task of wanting smooth walls, and if you know...that's a whole lot of sanding. His team came through and delivered! I love the new paint color on the walls, and no longer despise my garage. Oh, and also want to mention that he also patched up a bunch of holes inside my house (from electrical work I had done) and matched the existing wall texture and paint.
