Stand by.... ten minutes later you will have the best salad with any choice of burger, roll or rotisserie chicken available to you. What a treat! The shop is nothing to smile about, the menu is meh but when the food hits your mouth, it is heaven. I walked into this place by word of mouth and there are no customers inside. Either I come in-between customers or this place is really out of the way for everyone. A schnitzel burger and medium salad on the side is to fill any hunger of mine after a long day at work and (before I could get my order) looks like others as well. At least 10 other people walk in with half phoned ahead orders, received their meals/dinners to-go. THIS has to be the go-to local joint. The reason is that I mentioned salad first before over the burger is that I've never had quite an enjoyable second/side dish that out-shined the main. Not that I mean the main was bad, it was excellent. The salad of various varieties are mouth watering and not simple "rabbit food". They will feed a mans man. There is a reason the word "salad" is in their business title. They informed me the salad is made daily and is not exactly the same each day too. CHOICE! Chicken is too and man o' man it is delicious. Completely locked in moistness and taste is in every bite of a schnitzel. A warning tho, each bite will be as hot as the first. Perfectly fried or cooked I don't know. I'll leave the magic of the kitchen something to be worshiped after. At a very good price & walking away full, this place beats out any other place in Dural. Even free parking on the street or carpark at the local Woolworth & Aldi but also a bus stop right outside the doors of this shop if food coma happens to those people often. Opening up about 15 years ago, Dural Chickens and Salads have got a firm following. Very clean and very tidy, the shop smells of charcoal chicken and the salads always look so fresh. I often buy the Greek rice pudding as a snack, it's really scrummy! They now sell organic chicken so that's another point in their favour. They sell chips, roasted dinners which are generous in their serves and very well priced. You can buy large and small bottles of soft drinks and for those who want to save time, milk. There's a queue depending what night you go and it can take quite a while to get served but it's definitely worth the wait. read more

I used to frequent this chicken shop for YEARS! The prices are on the high side and I used to justify them out of convenience. It is very popular with locals in the area. Many times, I had returned home with food to discover undercooked BBQ chicken, hairs in the salad, bits of plastic in the salad, and so on. Again, I let it slide. That was until the time I consumed a regular bbq chicken and within 24 hours was hospitalised with a severe case of salmonellosis. I have never experienced anything like it in my life. It took me nearly 2 weeks to fully recover. And since then, I've never stepped foot back in the place. Be very careful what you order. And check the chicken is fully cooked through. read more

This place has the best range of salads around. You can smell the chicken roasting from down the road and the staff are always very friendly and helpful. I'm a very big fan of their sweet potato salad but not so much of the egg salad which last time appeared a bit crusty. read more
