With fascia board you should put a 1x2 directly behind where the face of the metal drip line lays so the water doesn't ROT YOUR FASCIA BOARDS!!! My home is old and had this extra trim on part of it but not all. I overheard the foreman and him talking a couple of times and in my gut knew something was shady. Indeed there was. His disregard for my overpaid roof is causing me a lot of trouble now. To those of you that gave Francis and his company five stars... just wait, you'll see. No problems at all with them. When I needed some follow up work done-which the previous owners knew was a possibility. It fell on deaf ears. I emailed and talked to Jessi and Brandon. I made it very clear how important this work was needed in order to have my house with a new addition fully insured prior to the peak of the hurricane season. I sent emails 7/14, 7/20, 7/27, 8/1, 8/15 with the only response from the 7/14 email-stating my needs would be addressed. My attempts at any phone calls went unanswered-except the first call, 7/11. Then I left messages about the sense of urgency needed on-7/14 (2), 7/25, 8/1 (3), 8/3, 8/4, 8/8. The message I left on the morning of 8/3 actually received a return call. I thought great this will get taken care or now. Nope. I wasn't empathetic listening to Brandon talk about all of his follow up needed with his new business he purchased. He knew I needed TPO work done as soon as possible. I made that very clear. He said he would get a hold of his TPO team and get back to me. Which never happened. Mind you this is early August with hurricane season fast approaching and work not scheduled to be done yet. After more messages left, I had no choice but to hire a different company. Fortunately I had somebody responsible and organized enough to get me on the schedule and get this issue corrected. Now, Brandon could claim that this TPO roof with a huge wrinkle on it was at fault of myself and my building contractor. Either way whether or not it was follow up for him to do at his cost or follow up to do at my cost he was not interested whatsoever in doing what an equitable company would do and that is to take care of their customers. To top it off, now he claims that I voided my warranty with him because I had no other choice but to hire a company to do follow up work that he was completely unresponsive to doing. So I guess he can just dust his hands off and be clear of this prior customer to his newly acquired company. A little background about myself. When I find a good company I am very loyal. I don't set unrealistic expectations. I expect the basic needs being met when called. I will expect return phone calls. No customer should feel the need to be constantly following up with messages that fell on deaf ears.

We selected the middle plan as it fit our budget the best and still had some of the bells and whistles from plan C. Trey was very helpful with selecting the color and sent me photos of homes they had completed. Something that makes Walsh standout compared to other companies that came to give an estimate is that they work with many different brands of shingles and they recommend which ones work best for you and your environmental situation. We chose Majestic Shake by Pinnacle Pristine. The colors worked perfectly with our home and the stone accents. The job itself was completed in 2 days. They used a dump truck on wheels so we had no damage to our driveway. Clean up was done very well, minus the fact that the crew forgot to tarp our pool and we had some cleaning up to do in the pool. Derek, who came for final clean up and to collect payment, was very apologetic when I mentioned the issue with the pool and provided a reasonable solution.
