At that time it was agreed that he would start the project in the spring of early 2026 since he was doing work next door. Now - when the job is to be done - we have tried and tried to contact Mr. Ott with no response. Today Mr. Ott did appear and met with us about the job. He again looked over the project to refresh his memory about the work to be done. Mr. Ott then announced that he was not going to do the job he promise as he has taken on bigger projects and ours was not profitable enough. This "negligence" shows total lack of responsibility. Anyone who can breach a contract agreement when the work should start is totally ignorant of customer relations. I now understand why contractors are asked to produce and provide a permormance bond. In my opinion - this person is an oportunist and will walk on anyone and disregard commitments to chase the dollar. Not buyer beware - but Buyer Be ANYWHERE Else.
