Stay far far far away from anything with Apter Properties name on it. My boyfriend recently…read morepurchased a "flip" they did, well it was a great money grab for Apter, with them making over $100k on the project. I know they are in the business of making money but as they says on their website, "Our philosophy is very simple--work hard and treat people with honesty and integrity in everything you do. We strive every day to provide a seamless experience that meets or exceeds your expectations". Well let me tell you they do not have integrity, and nor are they honest. They covered up major plumbing/septic/well and gutter issues by saying they never lived in the residence. They knew what they were doing as they refinished the bathrooms, kitchen, laundry closet and chose to cheap out. Within 2 weeks of residing in the home over $12k was spent on fixing issues that made the home inhabitable if not fixed. We had reached out to them to see if they would be willing to work with us and to no avail there was never a response. The house itself...I would consider it putting makeup on a pig, yes it looked nice but that's about it. They used the cheapest finishes as the kitchen cabinets have chipped already (moved in October, chipped in December) to painting over water damage and other numerous issues. It stinks that people get away with this nowadays and there isn't recourse. I hope someone learns from this hard lesson like we did and won't make the same mistake and purchase through Apter Properties! Wishing there was less than 1 star rating!
