I contacted MJW Financial after being referred by my realtor. I was interested in refinancing my home that I just bought 1 year ago. The interest rates were dropping to record lows during the start of the COVID-19 pandemic and I wanted to take advantage of this opportunity. John Murphy was my contact and helped me right away. I was also shopping around to see what the best options were with other local lenders. MJW financial offered me the best interest rate and lender credits. They made it simple. I submitted a few financial documents and they handled everything....including all of my questions! I wanted to make sure I was making a good decision with refinancing. Aaron Feeney came highly recommended. He did not disappoint us at all. However the underwriters were the nail in the coffin. We were required to have our accountant write a letter (which cost us extra) we were required to write a letter for our intended purpose of the house (to live in) We had to tell the purpose of all of our other properties. The underwriter not only up set us the buyers but delayed the process so long that the seller had to do a remote closing from Florida. We may use Aaron again as long as MJW Financial isn't involved. read more

A bit confusing at times but ultimately a smooth process. I like to talk to a person and I'm skeptical of everything so the fact that this was all done via email correspondence was unsettling to me. Never met with a person till the closing day was weird but they are legit and my rate was good. They did instantly sell my mortgage read more

Six months later out of the blue Michael Wampler called and suggested we refinance to lower our interest rate and payments! Yes please, and thank you sir may I have another! Meet the Business Owner: Michael W.

Michael Wampler began his career in the mortgage industry in 2005 working for a bank and then later a local mortgage brokerage. Unsatisfied with the business models at both companies, Michael wanted to create a mortgage bank that would put the focus on his clients' best interests. In the spring of 2008 he opened the doors to MJW Financial LLC, a lender whose main focus is customer service and satisfaction. Never involved in the sub-prime mortgage fiasco, Michael has always worked to create the best home buying experience for his clients. The are two critical components of buying a new home, an agency helping you to find the right place and a lending institution helping to facilitate the right financing. In the insanely hot Indiana market, a key difference between getting your dream home and not, is offering the seller the confidence that you are a qualified buyer and that your offer will hold. As a buyer from out-of-state who was in the process of financing two home purchases at the same time, we knew having the right lender was going to be important. This meant juggling two loans in parallel. Our agent actually made the recommendation for John Bartenbach and www.mjwfinancial.com as a potential lender. We did substantial research on John and team and looked at a few options before going forward. They were there for us throughout the process. Communication was stellar. Then I found a home at just the wrong time...at the beginning of December. Holidays were coming up. There was no way I was going to get this loan closed by the end of the year. WRONG. Brandon and Valerie came on the team and got it done. Whenever I had questions, they all had answers.
