The District Attorney objected to my motion for early termination; in Linn County, terminating probation early when that's the case is very difficult. Mind you, I have a very unique and extraordinary set of circumstances that caused probation to be excessively harsh. One of those circumstances was very embarrassing and personal for me. I did not want anything about it to be said out loud in court because of that. Mr. Felling went the extra mile again. He asked to go into the judge's chambers before my hearing with the district attorney to privately share the sensitive information with the judge.
