Well the problems with Nationwide continue. Although they paid to have my car repaired they have…read morerefused to pay me any diminished value on my new 2015 Mustang. When I picked up my car from the body shop I called Zack Armstrong the local adjuster (he's very nice) and told him I wanted to file a claim for diminished value because no matter how well my car was repaired it would now have a dirty Carfax that would follow it forever and cost me money when I decide to trade it in or sell it. Having been in the car business for 37 years I know for a fact that the first thing a dealership does when a person is trying to trade a car in is to pull a Carfax, and it most definitely impacts the value of the trade in. He gave me the name of Paul Warmuth. I called Wednesday and left a message on Paul's voice mail. Yesterday at 11:16 AM I received a call from my insurance agent's office that Nationwide was requesting copies of my policy because of the diminished value claim. Wanda informed me that neither she nor State Farm were allowed to give out that information and weren't going to. I asked her who requested the information and she said Pamela Gentzler. I called Pamela Gentzler and she said that since I gave the insured permission to drive my car that State Farm would have to cover it and (I only gave him permission to move it in case of an emergency) that Nationwide's legal department would require the copy of my policy or they wouldn't continue with my claim. She did this in the exact same curt rude manner that she initially spoke to me the day the claim was filed. I told her that in no way was my insurance company going to get involved and I didn't want to speak with her I wanted to speak with someone else because of her curt rude manner and her "It's my way or the highway" attitude. She wouldn't give me anyone else's name or phone number and told me that unless I provided the copy of my insurance policy that they weren't going to pursue my claim. I again told her that I wanted to speak with someone else and that she had no customer service skills and should never be allowed to deal with the public. She then told me she didn't have to put up with abuse and was ending the call, but not before telling me that I couldn't speak to anyone above her and they weren't going to do anything about my claim. Could it be possible that her hateful attitude has something that my friend Tom's policy is a joint auto/home owner's policy with his partner David? She is the number one reason for all the ill feeling I have had with Nationwide since the beginning because of her attitude and manner. If you speak with Zack Armstrong or Lisa Copeland (who is also very nice) and they will tell you that I'm nice when dealing with them and not unreasonable at all. I called and spoke with Zack yesterday and he said he would try and get ahold of someone for me and Lisa said Pamela has a manager named Scott who she could have had me talk to. I also called and left a message on Susan Child's voice mail as well. I received an e-mail today that Susan was "directing my concerns back to the appropriate claims leadership" and to have a good afternoon. A man named Jeff called me at 2:18 this afternoon (no last name provided) and wanted to know my story and how much I thought I should be paid for diminished value? I told him I would be glad to provide him with appraisals from a couple of dealerships, but with my 37 years of experience in the car business I anticipated an amount of $2,000.00. He told me that "contractually" Nationwide is not obligated to pay me diminished value for my new car. I told him I was going to pursue it with attorneys who represent people for such things and I was going to post it on Facebook. He just told me to be sure and mention the term "contractually" when I did. I find this unacceptable as I will have to eat the diminished value on my car when I trade it in, or sell it.

No one there can tell us why and they don't return phone calls. And after we closed I found out there were back taxes owed on the property. Isn't that part of what the title company is supposed to check for? And I just found out that they screwed up the company name when I bought a property in 2006. So they filed the deed in the name of a company that does not technically exist. Do not use Stewart Title. They suck.
