It's almost comical how peppy the employees are, but very on-brand and definitely part of the company ideology. Enthusiastic service and positivity, and well as efficiency and fun sugary drinks. I'm partial to the annihilator, which is espresso, heavy cream, and chocolate macadamia flavor. They've got some fun names and you know the first of every month I want the sticker. This particular Dutch Bros is BIG, right off the freeway, and prepared for lots of cars. Relatively quick service when I've been there, but I've also skipped the line here and done mobile orders at other places. This is a really great location! More often than not I have a great experience. During the day, the drinks are made ON POINT! Probably some of the best drinks I've had at any Dutch! I make my way around since I recently started working in Caldwell. Their baristas are very friendly, traffic flow is pretty smooth, and they have this one line system where cars just keep going at a steady pace. Every now and then, a customer will get very chatty and slow things down, but I still like this location. USUALLY well made drinks, easy access from the freeway, easy single drive thru and walk window. Fast service and I'd really hand it to the day baristas! You guys are KILLIN it!! My first time trying DB, and really was excited to see what the hype was all about. I had a freeze with no flavors added as I wanted something not so sweet, and cold as it was hot. This review is based solely on drink taste and quality. Our service wS superb!! However, it seriously tasted like cold chocolate milk. My daughter got the coco mo, and said the same thing. This is definitely your quintessential Dutch Bros: A bunch of fun, chatty, bubbly millennials making coffee to loud music with an emphasis on the sweeter side of coffee beverages. If you know the brand, you know the band, so if that's not your jam there's a truck stop to the north and a Human Bean to the south that will square better with the busy commuter crowd. A lot of the dissatisfied reviewers seem to be wanting a more traditional coffee product that's not Dutch Bros, which is fine, but in my book, you have to judge a place relative to what it's offering. That being said, this place is right off the freeway and I've never been to it at a time where it wasn't packed. That means you'll have to wait a while since the lines are long, there's no way to abort, and the parking is hard to maneuver. This would easily be a five-star Dutch Bros if it wasn't so slow and the parking lot layout wasn't so ridiculous. Given their location I think they might have been able to anticipate the popularity. There's ample outdoor seating, with heat lamps, and even a little alcove with a firepit to hang out around, so not a bad destination for just hanging out with friends at an arbitrary time of the day. We often will go here and just park and sit outside to get coffee, which seems both faster and more pleasant than staying right behind another car breathing in its exhaust. read more

This was our first time at a dutch bros location, and it was the perfect pick me up on our road trip! The woman at the walk up window was super polite and friendly, and we saw her interact with the rest of the staff who seemed like a pretty fun crew. We got our drinks super quickly, and because it was our first time we got a stamp card full of 9 stamps so that was exciting! we've been in love with dutch bros ever since, and it has become my husbands go to location for coffee. read more

The staff here are friendly, but their runners (who take orders whim you wait in line) do a horrible job of keeping the line moving. They leave large gaps in the line that forces drivers to line up in the street outside the parking lot. The inside had such an upbeat atmosphere, everyone looked like they were having fun and they seemed to enjoy what they do. I mentioned I'm not from here and I've never tried any Dutch Bros before and they gave me my drink free of charge and wrote an adorable note on top. The woman who took my order was super attentive and kind, even going so far as to say if I don't like my drink they'll remake it then and there a different way for me. Great service, ladies were pleasant at 6am tho it's freezing, BUT, wow horrible coffee. Americanos w/ quad shots somehow tastes watery & also their bean roast is burnt, therefore the watery coffee taste coming through tastes burnt. Another person got white mocha /half normal sweetness serving & quad shot... still Uber sweet. Tastes like sugar cream, can't taste coffee. They really need to focus on the coffee and serve the quality we used to rave about. read more

You cannot get me to stray from Dutch bros. I'm sorry. You just can't. Other cafes make coffee drinks waaaaayyy too syrupy. Can I get some coffee with that sugar please??? Dutch bros is the only bean in town that's got it down! My favorite by far is a caramelizer. I also am a huge fan of the upside down golden eagle! This location specifically does a pretty good job and keeping the recipe the way I like! Of course it's always great service. The very first , 'real' dutch brothers I got was from this local. It was the best. I've tried Starbucks, and Moxie. Won't go back. Love me some Dutch Brothers. The service is always with a smile and a friendly word. The wait is never huge and for a special treat, the price is right. Today in fact, met a very nice young man who asked our names and what we were up to while we waited in line. So friendly, so nice. Its "special" coffee. What else to say? I can buy some yummy Level 5 coffee at the grocery store for the same price, a bag to last 2 weeks. (Or a cup of coffee here). .. But I know Lots and Lots of folks Love their sugary coffee drinks, so if I had to choose, I would pick this place over Starbucks any day of the week. HOWEVER! (AND HERE IS WHY 1 STAR COMES INTO PLACE) Watch your gift cards, receipts and all. We won a contest through the school last year and received a 50$ gift card for Dutch Brothers. We finally brought it in and ordered two drinks. The guy gave us our 2 drinks and told us we had $11 left on the card. WTF?! A $50 gift card - 2 drinks equals $11??? We contacted the teacher that purchase the gift card. She told us that our gift card was purchased the day that we bought our drinks. BS. For once we thought we had actually won something.
