9/2/25 - a few days earlier I received an email and a text that the technician would be here…read moreTuesday between 1 PM and 4 PM. There was a photo and that the technician's name was Brian. So, besides a truck with the company name on it, we knew what he looked like. He arrived a little bit after 12 noon. Fine with us. He could see that the stile was slightly apart from the legs. He took the chair apart and tried to see if the stiles were interchangeable. At that point, we noticed that the one stile had been cut at the wrong angle at the factory, To fit properly he tried to trim it to fit better. But, to be on the safe side, he didn't want to remove too much wood, as it might compromise the structural integrity of the chair. Because of the height of the chairs, knowing that people would be putting their feet on the stiles rather than the floor. To protect the finish on all the stiles, I added an L shaped protective corner within days of delivery. It's not the kind that can be removed, without damaging the finish. That Raymour & Flanigan, in an effort to please the customer; even though the warranty expired, sent out a technician to correct something that should've been brought to their attention earlier. Raymour and Flanagan graciously provided this house call at no charge. That says a great deal about the Company's integrity, and customer service. I would definitely recommend anyone who is looking for furniture to go to Raymour & Flanigan. After we took delivery, in February 2020, we noticed defects a few days later. We took photos and showed them to our sales person at the Store. They sent technicians to see if they could correct it at the time they couldn't.

The "Extended Warrantee" was useless and multiple attempts to get a resolution failed. Finally after months of trying to get a solution from Fortunoff, I contacted the manufacturer in China. Sent them the same information and pictures I had sent to Fortunoff they replaced the table via Fed Ex . A suggestion, don't buy from them and never get the "Extended Warrantee" for outdoor furniure. Unfortunately they do not provide Customer Service and are only interested in making the sale and pushing the useless third party protection plan.

I have needed to use it at least once a year to fix dents & scratches in the paint. I have to keep two tablecloths on it at all times to prevent damage. (Which defeats the purpose of buying something that looks nice.) One of the chairs was scratched so badly (even when treated with care) that the seat needed to be replaced. The repair person placed order to replace the seat. Six months later- after four unreturned phone calls and two in -person visits to the store, I was told that the best they could do was re-order the seat, or replace the whole chair and then I would lose my protection plan. --Completely unapologetic-- Customer satisfaction is clearly not a high priority. The prices are way too high for the junk that they sell. I am writing this review so nobody else ends up in the same position as me. Go elsewhere.
