The Ceasar salad was generous too. Though right across the driveway from Terminal 1, the rooms are quiet with no perceived jet noise. Rooms are like new, well appointed & well maintained. In the morning we simply walked across the street to check in. Highly recommended!

K dispozici je 25 lůžek ve třech třílůžkových a osmi dvoulůžkových pokojích. Každý pokoj je jedinečný svou atmosférou a stylem. Z pokojů ve 2. patře je krásný výhled do okolních polí, která také pojmenovala náš penzion. Každý den pro Vás měníme jídelní lístek dle momentální inspirace a na terase je možno opéct selátko či jiné zvířátko dle Vašeho výběru. I've stayed several times, so I was debating 4 stars. But airport shuttles are important, and over the years, it keeps getting worse: first it went from on-demand to only 30-minute intervals, then a 3EUR fee per person was added. If you don't have much luggage to manage, the walk or public bus are fine, but this makes it harder to recommend.

Salmon and Steak were both goo. The steak not the best quality but it was still good. We thought the entire experience was good.

We chose to book at Hotel at the Big Boot for many reasons, not just the interesting name alone…read more The hotel is located in the Mala Strana district of Prague, just across the street from the German Embassy. It's housed in a 17th century home that spans several floors of rooms, offering all the old world charm you'd expect with lots of modern conveniences tossed in. The owner/operators and their staff are extremely friendly and exceedingly helpful. They arranged for a car to pick us up at the airport to relieve the pressure of navigating cabs in a foreign language within minutes of arrival. Upon arrival, we were welcomed, checked in and escorted to our amazing room within minutes. The room featured two windows surrounded by vines and flowers that opened to overlook the square below and the German Embassy. The furniture was older, but extremely comfortable. The bathroom was refurbished with modern fixtures, including a nice glass shower and rain shower head. Breakfast each morning was an informal affair with the staff spending time with each guest. The offerings included cereals, pastries and other items on the table, as well as cooked-to-order eggs and breakfast meats. There was lots of coffee and juice as well. Overall, a wonderful breakfast option until we learned our way around. The staff helped with tour bookings, cabs, restaurant recommendations and reservations and even some cultural conversation over a glass of wine on a cold, rainy night. When we were ready to depart, they arranged for a car to take us to the train station and offered water and fruit for the trip. We can only categorize our stay at House at the Big Boot as wonderful and would recommend this hotel to anyone without reservations.
